I have had Ashley represent my case for custody and child support. I mostly represented myself with custody but Ashley still attended a hearing to help. I am amazed at Ashleys ability to understand the case we had. She was very good at addressing main points over the custody hearing. I know Ashley put the children's interest first. I have had two attoneys prior and although they were equally good, Ashley was one of the best attorneys I've witnessed in the courtroom. Ashley did transfer my case eventually with another excellent attorney as the practice she was working with the main attorney retired. I would still highly recommend Ashley to any one seeking family law advice and representation.

When I asked for Ms. Donovan's help in simple wage garnishment and child support modification for my ex-husband who was in arrears, she incorrectly got my case classified as 4D (a person who has taken state aid in the past). This resulted in a huge bureaucratic nightmare with the State and DES. This incorrect classification required a second trial that cost me an additional six months without support and 10K in legal fees. It is 18 months later and I'm still in court trying to get an accurate arrears total for my ex. Ashley also didn't return phone calls and openly admitted she was overwhelmed by my case. She forgot to get my ex-husband (who is an attorney himself) served for mediation. She also sent me another client's court correspondence for three months, and despite multiple phone calls (and ‘return to sender’) it finally took me contacting her other client via Facebook and letting him about it before the simple address correction was made. Ashley left the firm she was representing me at and her senior partner inherited me as a client. Two months later she joined the firm that was representing my ex-husband.
