Lifesaver... SERIOUSLY!! From the beginning through the end were always professional, communicative, and patient with my anxiety and desire to understand my case better. Prompt in response to calls and/or emails. They truly cared about my case and primary focus was to reassure me I was supported. I highly recommend this business to anyone who feels like they have no hope and needs to feel heard and supported while maintaining integrity. I am forever grateful to this company and their hard work which resulted in my like being forever changed in a positive way giving me hope for a better future.

I highly recommend this attorney who helped in my difficult situation from which I even was able to get financial compensation. Very friendly people in the office. They were keeping me updated with the case progress. They were always available for my questions.

David handled a financial case for me and did a great job. He's the attorney you want on YOUR side; he explains the goings-on and expectations clearly; he's pleasant and friendly and a delight to do business with. He did the best that could be done for me; I'm grateful to have found him!

There are so many places I can begin with this review. After having my initial efforts fall to the wayside via a previous lawyer, David Chami and his team took my concerns into their hands as if my concerns were their own and resolved them in the most expeditious manner. I have never met or been represented by a more tenacious young lawyer with an equally tenacious legal team. David and his team took the fight to the harassing creditors who adamantly rejected employing common sense with my case. David and his team kept me informed of every decision being made with my case. The benefits of being kept informed of such actions relieved me of the stress of wondering when my case would be completed and won. The secret to my success with David and his team is: Give him ALL the information regarding your case and let him fight for you. When a client commits "their" due diligence to their case, it makes David's job extremely easy. David and his team are the epitome of unwavering strength. They do not fight for financial wind falls. They fight for what is right. The ultimate outcome of David's work is: My credit score was restored to its 800's ranking. My future purchasing power is intact because of David and his team. I highly recommend David and his team to anyone in need of representation with Consumer Protection, Insurance, and Debt Settlement. Thank You again David for all your hard work. //NKJ//

I was constantly being harassed by creditors and did not know what to do. I was ashamed to have lost my job and tried to make small payments to my credit cards, but they did not accept them and would call and harass me constantly. That was until I found Mr. Chami! A friend told me how he had helped him and I am SO grateful I called Mr. Chami. Not only did he make the calls stop, but he disputed my charges which were reported incorrectly, got them fixed, got my debt waived and I could not believe it but because of what they did to me he made THEM pay ME! I never thought I would get them off my back, let alone all of this. Thank you for everything you did for me!

Ms. Del Vecchio and her team were hands down the most professional personnel I've ever dealt with. Given the severity of my situation, they could answer any questions I had and kept me up to date through my dissolution process. I recommend them if you need any legal matter done. Ms. Del Vecchio made it very easy to communicate with her and was there for me from beginning to end.

I've been working with Bishop Law for almost 5 years on a very complex case that expanded across different courts and jurisdictions. I highly recommend Bishop Law Office because Ms. Tawnia Wienke and Mr. Bishop are the best Family Law attorneys in Arizona. You can depend on them to be a good advocate for you in court and equally hold you accountable in the best interest of yourself and family. I've been in front of 4 different Superior Court Judges in the last 5 years and I can tell you that each Judge respects Tawnia, Bill and the Bishop Law Firm brand. I'm grateful to have Tawnia representing me and I highly recommend you hire them ASAP! Great Team to work with. Reach out to Ms. Carolyn to get set up.

Benjamin Rundall of Honor Law Group represented me in case where I was being sued by corporate bullies . That attitude that they had changed immediately after Mr. Rundall entered on my case. I felt a relief when I realized I had some real help from a firm that put my interest first, and from an attorney that Loves to fight for justice and welcomes a trial on any day! He’s not afraid, he won’t bow to injustice or plea out due to lack of confidence. I thank Ben immensely for being extremely fair and reasonable with my attorney fees, the promptness to face my cause, and professionalism! I recommend him to all my friends , family and colleagues. I recommend him to anyone who wants JUSTICE !

I hired Mr Sacco to represent me, after a "big box" firm failed to do anything after several months. Only 2 weeks into the claim, Mr Sacco not only researched all angles, but also had a professional presentation prepared and maintained contact with me throughout the claim. Mr Sacco truly believes in doing the right thing by his clients, and getting the job done! I highly recommend his services

  2. How do you charge for your services, and what are the estimated costs?
Understand the fee structure, including hourly rates, flat fees, retainer fees, and any additional expenses.
  3. Who will be handling my case?

  4. What is your approach to resolving cases like mine?
Learn about their strategy, whether they prefer negotiation, mediation, or litigation.
  5. What potential outcomes can I expect?
While no lawyer can guarantee results, they can provide an assessment of possible scenarios based on their experience.

Can a Lawyer Represent Me in Courts Outside of Tempe, Arizona?

Whether a lawyer can represent you in courts outside of your city or state depends on their licensure and the jurisdiction of the court:

  • Within the Same State:
Lawyers licensed in a particular state can typically practice anywhere within that state, including all cities and counties. They can represent you in both state and federal courts located in that state.
  • Outside of Their Licensed State:
If your case is in a different state, the lawyer must be licensed in that state to represent you. However, there are exceptions:
    • Pro Hac Vice Admission: An out-of-state lawyer can request special permission to represent a client in a specific case in another state. This requires filing a motion with the court and often working in conjunction with a local attorney.
    • Federal Courts: If your case is in federal court, a lawyer licensed in any state may be able to represent you, provided they are admitted to practice in that particular federal court.
  • International Representation:
For cases outside the United States, different rules apply, and the lawyer may need to comply with the foreign country's legal requirements or collaborate with local counsel.

It's important to discuss your specific situation with the lawyer to determine if they can represent you in the desired jurisdiction and what steps may be necessary to do so.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  • Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing. Most state bar websites have an online directory for this purpose.
  • Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case. Review their website, professional profiles, and case history.
  • Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association's records.
  • Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Google, or Yelp to gauge client satisfaction and experiences.
  • Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation in the legal community.
  • Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  • Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their abilities and professionalism.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  • Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as:
    • Contracts or agreements
    • Correspondence (emails, letters, texts)
    • Legal notices or court papers
    • Financial records (if applicable)
    • Evidence (photos, videos, receipts)
  • Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and parties involved. This helps the lawyer quickly understand the context.
  • List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, fees, or the lawyer's experience.
  • Financial Information:
If your case involves financial matters, bring relevant documents like pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or invoices.
  • Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case, including their names and contact information.
  • Personal Identification:
Bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points discussed.
  • Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations so the lawyer can provide appropriate guidance on fees and payment options.
  • Openness and Honesty:
Be prepared to discuss your case candidly. Full disclosure allows the lawyer to give accurate advice and anticipate potential challenges.
