Twice I was told information on my divorce case and was lied to by Michael Johnson legal assistant Krystal.

I have worked with him and he is a great attorney to have on ur side. He is always on contact with his clients.

Let me start off be saying that Michael is one of only two family law attorneys in Tucson with whom I consulted who treated me, a potential client, with dignity and respect. That alone was a major factor in my decision to retain him as counsel in my divorce case. Once I did so, I further discovered that not only does Michael treat his clients as equals, as part of a "team" in resolving their legal issues, but is one of the most knowledgeable, seasoned, and dedicated attorneys whose services I have ever had the pleasure of engaging. From initiating the first discovery steps of the divorce process all the way until the issuance of the final decree, Michael and his legal secretary Krystal were professional paragons of efficiency, timeliness, and strategy. He actually took the time to thoroughly familiarize himself with the details of my case, developed a strategic resolution to my case that benefited both parties involved while providing me as his client with the most optimal long-term benefits possible in today's legal environment, and negotiated a resolution with my ex-wife's attorney that avoided what could have been a lengthy and potentially costly court trial. Divorce is often a costly and painful process for both parties. While my own case was relatively straightforward and uncomplicated (no minor children involved and no serious issues concerning property division), Michael's dedication to the case and his expertise in facilitating its quick resolution at a very reasonable cost provided me with what I can only say was one of the of most worthwhile legal investments I have made to date. I cannot recommend highly enough Michael's services to anyone requiring a family law attorney. You will be served by one of the best in the business!

I've read all the reviews regarding Mr. Johnson, I STRONGLY DISAGREE AS HIRING HIM. My granddaughter(single mother of two children) made an appointment to meet with Mr. Johnson. I went with her on first meeting. He gave me a convincing impression that he could and would help with child custody issues. WRONG. He was hired by my granddaughter. Most of the communication was between his assistant and my granddaughter. He was either on phone or unavailable. He was on case for four months when he petition to dismiss himself(hearing was only 3 weeks away) His reasons: overwhelmed with cases and he was stressing. It took him 4 months to realize the load and stress he had? I would think that an attorney should know if he can or can't take any more cases. POOR JUDGEMENT ON MR. JOHNSON. The money was being paid up through his dismissal. Judge ruled on his favor. Now my granddaughter was without any money to look or hire another attorney. DON'T RECOMMEND HIM!

This guy does not care about his clients & is definitely not going to go up & bat for you. You pretty much pay this guy to be a messenger between you & the other lawyer. When you call him about something, he has to look up your case becaus he doesn't even know who you are. The other lawyer would fire away at us & he would never fight back. He just wanted me to give into everything my ex & his lawyer were demanding. This guy does not care what so ever about his clients.

Michael Johnson is the worst lawyer ever. He "handled" my husband's case in court twice and did a terrible job both times. This lawyer did not fight in court, did as little as possible, acted as if he was on the other person's side; called my husband and barked questions at him i.e "did you or did you not....? without asking for his side of it first. My husband almost died and was put in ICU in between court dates and this lawyer did NOTHING to fight harder for him ( the reason he almost died is because he is 56 years old and was working round the clock because of having to pay his ex- wife an unreasonable amount of money) all he said when he saw him was "YOU look well!!" As if he had been faking it. The only time he communicated was when he wanted us to send him "some love" (money) Save your money, it will be wasted

Michael did an amazing job handling my difficult divorce! My husband and I had been married many years and had lots of property and debts to divide. We also had three children who were torn between two households. Michael was extremely patient and knowledgeable. He was very quick to respond to my many, many calls and emails. I was a wreck! He also recommended an excellent therapist for our children. He did a fantastic job preparing me for court. I would HIGHLY recommend Michael for any divorce or custody matters!

This lawyer is not a bulldog. Doesn't like to fight. Always bugging for payments. Everytime case is discussed he brings up payment. Doesn't care about case or the needs for the wellbeing of the children in this case. Worthless....stay away. No heart.

Mr. Johnson handled my siblings custody battle, that sided against her. He was hardly prepared although he had weeks to be. He always seemed like he had other pressing issues he needed to attend to that didn't pertain to the case at hand. During the hearing and testimonies he often fumbled his argument or case. He stated facts wrong even after conversing with his client. He came off very unprofessional. His Assistant was very good at touching base with my sister, but toward the end it was if my sister had to continuously call Johnsons office for information or concerns. I would NOT recommend Michael Johnson. He was clearly more concerned about receiving his checks then doing the task at hand, which was to advise, advocate, and thrive in this devastating matter on which we had.
