Mrs. Kretz has been very helpful. I was applying for a greencard through marriage and since I had some history with homeland security I was very anxious about the whole process. Ive had homeland officers be very rude and I’ve had issues with visas due to misunderstandings. Catarina has been good at explaining all the steps as well as make sure I understood the questions asked so I could answer them correctly. I deal with anxiety and this whole ordeal was very stressful for me but she did her best to calm me and inform me of everything. Due to my anxiety disorder I don’t remember well so I’ve definitely asked the same questions many times as well as gotten upset over things that I had already been informed was nothing to worry about. There was never any harsh or unprofessional communication back from her or her assistant. Only very professional responses. The interview went smoothly- unlike everything else I’ve experienced with homeland. I would recommend Mrs. Kretz to anyone who needs a knowledgeable and caring lawyer. Thank you Catarina!

I am forever grateful for the excellent, thorough, and professional representation I received from Jesse Evans-Schroeder, and her entire team. I was in removal proceedings in Eloy, Arizona, facing deportation for a criminal felony offense I had committed. I had spent 6 years in prison for the felony. When I met Jesse, she had a plan for how to fight and win my deportation case for me. Her office helped me apply for bond, they went to every court hearing with me, and I was released on bond while my case was still waiting for trial with the judge. It became very clear to me that Jesse is a very knowledgeable and experienced lawyer. She knew how to fight USCIS and DHS at every step to make sure that we win. She explained everything to me and she always answered all of my questions. Because of the hard work Jesse and her law firm did on my case, I now have my green card, and I am now a permanent resident of the United States. After we won, the government appealed the case. My wife is an immigrant who was due for her green card renewal after her conditional card expired. Cathy's office was recommended to us by a local non-profit after they themselves were overwhelmed with immigration cases. We could not have found a better firm to assist us. Cathy and her colleagues were clear on what we needed to provide to Immigration throughout the entire process. They were honest and straightforward - every interaction left us knowing we were in good hands. Cathy keeps her ears to the immigration offices. During COVID, she let us know what to expect as immigration's practice's changed, interviews paused/resumed, etc. We always felt in the loop. When we were called for the final interview, Cathy prepped us via Zoom and showed up with us for support. I'm sure many immigrants or spouses of immigrants can understand that the last 4 years have been frightening. There were so many unknowns that made you feel helpless, unsure if the life you were building could disappear because of hatefulness and unwarranted bigotry. Cathy went above and beyond her role as an attorney for my immigration issues. My case was not an easy one, but with her knowledge and expertise, I was able to become a permanent resident after a long and drawn out process that without her help, I would not have been able to overcome. When I received a request for evidence after applying to lift the conditions of my 2 year green card, she was meticulous about her approach and it paid off. If I hadn't moved out of state, I would 100% hire her for my naturalization process as well. I would definitely recommend Caterina as an immigration attorney.
