I visited with several lawyers while trying to decide who to select to represent me, and Michael's office struck me as the one who seemed to listen the best, and work with the most integrity. Michael's office made a difficult situation exponentially easier to deal with. From the first appointment to the sentencing hearing, Michael's office kept me abreast of all the developments in the case and always answered any questions promptly. The whole office did an incredible job listening to what my disposition was regarding my incident, and truly providing representation of my disposition to the court. In addition, they provided council that helped me course correct, and utilize this incident as a learning experience to put myself on a better track going forward. It was apparent that they cared about me as a person and not just about fulfilling their contractual obligations for legal representation. Scott Redmon, who primarily worked my case, negotiated relentlessly with the prosecutor over the course of several months. Utilizing proof I provided of ongoing mitigating actions, Scott was able to achieve a plea deal that was much better than I anticipated was possible. I was currently living in Phoenix and attending college when one day I got an unexpected phone call that there was a warrant out for my arrest. I called home and told my mom the situation. She immodestly went to several lawyers all turned her down except Mr. Harwin. When I met with him he was very cool and calm but when he represented me he had high confidence and spoke very well. On November 21, 2018, I was found NOT GUILTY and ACQUITTED of the Manslaughter charges in Federal Court. Today I am a free man and I have my life back.
