I contacted Mr. Bock after being arrested a second time for a drug charge and realizing that my Public Defender would not be able to keep me out of prison. Even then I knew it would be a long shot. Mr. Bock was easy to reach, answering all my calls, even from jail and spoke with me patiently and honestly. He visited regularly and kept in constant contact with my family. He not only offered excellent legal advice but also was very encouraging, yet frank, when explaining the importance of seeking treatment in order to maintain sobriety. The end result was being released from jail, reunited with my child and I am proud to say that my life is a sober and very happy one. It was Mr. Bock's dedication and diligence that has greatly helped me turn my life around.

My son was charged with Criminal Damage resulting from an automobile accident. Allegations related to drug use were involved. I was asked for help in hiring an attorney. Our family viewed this outcome as a major success, a definite win! Remember that fourth quality I mentioned earlier, compassion? That played a significant role in the process. My son surrendered himself and was taken into custody 2 months prior to his sentencing hearing. During that time, aside from communicating with the family, he made a special effort to provide guidance to my son's spouse who had no one else to turn to. That showed me a lot. I am convinced without a doubt that Michael was the best choice. While I normally refrain from granting endorsements, I happily make an exception in this case.
