Michael Harwin defended me in a case where I was facing down a potentially career-ending charge. All all stages of the process, from initial consultation to assisting me with having the final outcome set aside by a judge, Michael was outstanding and confidence-inspiring. He always made himself available for questions and updates. Set realistic expectations for procedures and outcome. Most importantly, he was able to get the initial charge reduced down to a reasonable outcome that allowed me to continue practicing in my profession.

Very professional and always made sure I understood the process and what was happening. I'd use him again if I ever had to, hopefully I won't.

Scott Redmon (Mr Harwin's associate) assisted me thoroughly throughout the intricate and distressing process of being charged and convicted of a DUI. With AZ's tough mandatory minimum laws, there is only so much any attorney can do, especially if the blood alcohol reading is high. Through a plea he was able to have charges reduced and have others from the same traffic stop dismissed. As a former highly esteemed prosecutor, he knows the ins and outs of the local court/legal system as well as the people. He got our case before a judge who is deemed the most lenient. He always returned emails or calls in a matter of hours or less, no matter how urgent or trivial the matter-- something busy attorneys aren't typically good at. Even though our contract has expired and this ordeal is largely behind me, he still answers any questions and addresses concerns promptly. His a calm demeanor helped significantly to put me at ease in during the proceedings. If you need defense, I doubt you'll find any that surpasses his.

As someone who has never had to deal with legal issues before, having a charge against me was anxiety-inducing to say the least. When I was confused by the legal process, Michael broke it down to plain English. He returned calls and messaged back when I needed guidance; he would even call on a Friday night with an update so I didn’t have to worry over the week-end (he did this several times, in fact). Lety, the office manager, was always available to answer questions with kindness and knowledge. If she didn't know the answer, she did the research and promptly got back with me. Michael is professional and compassionate. His ethics and integrity are first-rate. He was there to support not only me, but my family as well. I am so happy with the outcome of my case. I was originally charged with a felony, and Michael got it reduced to a misdemeanor I would recommend Michael to anyone I know.
