Few years ago, my green card application was in a mess. The company lawyer was really giving me a hard time. I requested the company to change my current lawyer. Thankfully, they assigned Jose to me. Jose was very thorough and he was very helpful. He knew exactly what was required. When something was not clear, he used to email/call me and make sure that our green card petition was rock solid. He would ask me for all the relevant information/support letters and he spent lot of effort in making sure that the final petition was very thorough and unambiguous. He was very dedicated and he made sure that we had all our bases covered - e.g. getting support letters from people all over the world, from having a good mix of people from academics and industry to support me, from making sure that my achievements during my studies and during my current job were both well represented, that my paper reviews and papers published were properly highlighted, and so on. The whole experience of trying for a green card was mentally overbearing for me as my wife's employment depended on that.
