Legal Aid! Hah! I went there for help several times without success. Each time my application was accepted and I was taken back and I discussed my situation. I was then told sorry they would not be able to represent me. What is legal aid for if they cannot represent us? Why bother taking my application and then taking me back to discuss my situation only to be declined in the end? I am sorry but I feel they take their cases on a criteria they decide as to who they wish to represent not based on a real need or the law. Good luck to anyone going here because I've not heard good things from others and my experiences were that of what I felt of a discriminatory nature on several levels. Be it I was too poor, not poor enough and they also didn't like my appearance? Well, sorry I cannot afford a lawyer that is why I went to legal aid. Now I just wait out my legal issues. I've learned legal aid won't help me. Perhaps you may have better luck!

They turned me away because of conflict of interest! Wouldn't tell me why but I have a feeling it was because one of their attorneys treated me rudely, yelled at me!! And I reported it! So when I came to them for help on a second instance different matter they turned me away!

They are very responsive to my case. So far so good.

I just spent a hour trying to apply online. Called and pressed 0 to ask if they were having a problem with their website. The receptionist said no that happens all the time. She was not very professional at all and did not let me finish asking her for info. I still need the assistance but now have to either restart it online, try phone app, or go get in line. Hey IT department get your act together!!!!

Waste of time

They are NOT nice, even mean and rude. Clearly they don't know how to treat people in peril. Too bad, because that is their JOB! Incredibly insensitive and uncaring staff and attorneys. Unimpressive and unprofessional.

This place has saved my life! I worked with Ms.Wren she works hard, she is diligent. They were having make over with there Intel it was down when I walked in a frenzy, they saw the desperation I had. They immediately jumped on my case and have made a WORLD of a difference I cannot praise this company enough! Well deserved 5 stars!!!!! Quality people! I never understood how much this company would change my life!!
