After initiating a request for SALA's legal services through their intake process I was discriminated and denied legal services after conferencing with a lawyer who denied taking my inquiry, denied when asked to provide me with any information regarding services offered by SALA and fabricated an allegation once I requested to speak to SALA leadership. What is worse is this organization has refused to cooperate with a formal escalation/complaint I've attempted to reach out to the board members for assistance from leadership to address the staffs behavior and it's effect on providing services to qualifying clients. It was the Pinal county office that was kind enough to not discriminate against me when I requested assistance with their escalation process and how to file a formal complaint. Instead of following up with me Mr. Young who leads SALA has failed to address this situation at all. This is unfortunate, no person should be discriminated against and a nonprofit allowing staff to behave in such a manner is disconcerting.

Kind and informative. Able to direct me where to apply.........happy to help......after much disappointment I'm adding to my reviews and taking away stars.

It would have been great if I got in touch with someone but I didn't and I wasn't able to do anything online so that was another issue. Still waiting though and not going to lose hope on getting in touch.

They took long to respond and I didn't get the help I needed.

They denied any help for me with my case, I started with them a year ago. But now with their recently new policies changes. They said that they wouldn't help me.

This place is incredibly useful. If you do end up meeting with someone have all your docs and materials ready. These dudes are super busy and its not a good idea to come unprepared.
