In the fight of my life, I have entrusted Brad Hull to head this battle. Full of wisdom in the law, matched with all the information I have- I have no reason to believe we won't win. Fighting the good fight.

After years of living with an verbally abusive alcoholic, I decided to plan my escape and get a divorce. Because of the situation I was in I didn't have much time to find a lawyer. Kevin Hickey had good reviews. I had never hired a lawyer before and didn't know if it is standard practice to make the retainer nonrefundable. I had every intention at the time to go through with the divorce and believed the retainer would be used up. However, that didn't happen. My husband started therapy and I continued to live separately, but decided to drop the divorce. Come to find out my husband only paid a $1500 retainer, I paid $2500, and he received the unused portion of his retainer back. My final bill was $187.50, less than 10% of my retainer. I didn't speak with Kevin Hickey once, not even for my consultation. Any correspondence was done by email with paralegals or office personal. When I enquired if I could get a portion of my retainer back Crystal reminded me the contract says nonrefundable, but said she would ask Kevin. Fifteen days later I had heard no response, emailed again, and was told she didn't have a chance to speak with Kevin yet. On July 29 emailed again, no response. August 18th feed up with lack of response emailed Lisa Easton, who was included on the emails with Crystal and sent me the invoice, that I was going to file a grievance. Her response on August 19th "I'm sorry. Do I know you?". Talk about adding insult to injury. How hard would it have been to look at their records and figure out who I am or maybe since they took 90% of my money for no work or services provided, they really don't care. I would never recommend Kevin Hickey and all of the good reviews really confounds me. Maybe people are too scared to speak up about his abysmal practices. Just because he makes you sign a contract that says nonrefundable, doesn't make it right. If he had used 50% or more of my retainer and put any effort in, I wouldn't be complaining.

Absolute worst

I went for consultation and was barely listened too. On top of that they call the cps on me. I have the proverbial proof too! I didnt pay you to do that! Now I need a divorce lawyer interested? I am not a scam! I have a bank record and recite from your office sir! I was give a consultation check your records again...oh and go ahead and tell Google on me too. It only proves my point for a lawyer maybe your not that good. Just saying. But you being a lawyer figures your gonna try and put me down. Whatever sir have a good day. After being blindsided by DHS taking my child, I felt it necessary to hire the best lawyer to help me defend my family and work for the best interest of my son. I was always kept in the loop of everything that happened during the case, and always had great representation in court and during negotiations.
