My husband and I used Aundrea for our custody battle for his daughter. She is a beast in the court room!! She was in constant contact with us throughout the whole process! She gave us advice when we needed it and she never backed down. She isn't afraid to say what was needed to get the point across! We won full custody of my husband's daughter and we are so thankful for Aundrea and all her help making this happen!! If you are going through a similar situation and fighting for your child I highly recommend you hire Aundrea!

My husband and I used Aundrea for a custody battle of his two biological boys against his ex wife for the past two years. Aundrea was there for every step of the way and every issue. She is fierce and a bulldog in the court room. She doesn't step down or away during any matter of the case. We could call her and she was always there to advise us with what step we should take next with every contempt with the ex wife and the concerns we had with the boys. Yesterday we had our final hearing on this matter and she fought and fought for our boys and we won full custody of our boys. You always hear that dads won't ever get fully custody over the mom in the state of Arkansas, well Aundrea made that happen for us and I would recommend her to every single person. To know that we weren't fighting alone made us feel so comfortable and we knew with the relationship we had with Aundrea, that she was there for us! Thank you for all you did Aundrea. Give her a call if you are needing a lawyer.

I had the privilege of working with Aundrea for my custody case with my child’s father. Aundrea was blunt and straight to the point! She was always there to discuss the case with me and answer any questions I had as well as her office team! Aundrea was phenomenal and I will never use any other attorney but her. Thank you again Aundrea for fighting for me and my daughter and winning!

I have had an ongoing custody case for many years due to the other party being extremely difficult to work with. My daughters father suddenly stopped everything and asked to voluntarily sign over all parental rights and wanted it done ASAP. Aundrea was absolutely amazing from beginning to end and she was able to get everything done in a timely manner. She also answered all of my texts and emails, even when she was out of office or after hours! If you want someone who will fight for the best interest of your child/children she is your person! Our family could never say thank you enough for all she has done for us! She’s the BEST and we love her!

Aundrea is an incredible attorney, and person. My divorce was a very difficult one. My ex had a history of being violent, and he left my children and me in a great deal of debt in my name. However, he and his attorney tried to hide the facts and drag out a fight. Aundrea checked on me regularly during the extent of the divorce. She shot everything to me straight and supported me when I needed her. She helped me get through the most difficult experience of my life, on top! In the court room at pre trial, she was amazing! And in the end, I was granted sole custody (in a court room where the judge favors joint), and awarded all of my back child support and debt payments. We were even able to settle without the stress of going to trial. I cannot thank Aundrea enough! She is simply amazing! Dont hesitate to call her and see for yourself. You definitely want her on your side!

Standing ovation for Mr. Frank Cardoza! I was appointed to be the executor of my uncle’s estate. Due to family dynamics, this was a disaster waiting to happen from day one. Frank confidently stepped up and helped my uncle form a Trust and made all of our my lives so much easier after he passed away. Everything was very specific. I will be eternally grateful to Mr. Cardoza for his expertise and helpfulness.

If you're in need of a legal services, you MUST give Brent a call first. He will be honest with you and whatever situation you're dealing with. It was a privilege to witness his flawless, almost movie-like, performance in court, where my opposition never stood a chance. He never promised me the best outcome, but delivered just that. His preparation is second to none and his execution was even more impressive. More importantly, Brent genuinely cared for my family and I. This was evident both in the compassion he showed in our first meeting and the ferocious defense of me in court. I will forever appreciate Brent for what he did for me. Do yourself a favor, call Brent Hall and only Brent Hall if you need a lawyer.

Brent is worth every penny he charges. A family member received a DWI and we had no idea how to proceed. My extensive online research advised to hire an attorney however when asking around everyone said not to as you are wasting your money. Brent came recommended to us by another lawyer and was the best advice we've received in a long time! He reviewed all the paperwork/videos and was VERY well prepared for court date. Good job Brent on our family member being found NOT guilty on a DWI charge.

Mr Hall helped with my son'DWI case. The reason we hired him is because he took the time to really talk with us and get all our details. He had expirence in all roles, so he knew exactly what to look for, and he charges one fee that gets you through the whole process. We had to postpone our case for personal reasons, no problem it was taken care of just like that. Mr Hall gathered all evidence in our case. He got all recordings from police and jail for us to review. When we had our pre court meeting, he gave us a package with all documents about our case. Mr Hall was well prepared for our meeting and had found the officer did not have probable cause to stop my son and that made all evidence not useable in court. We went to court and he presented our case and my son was found not guilty. We paid no fines and his record is clear. Mr. Hall was a blessing yo our family and I can't think him enough. I highly recommend him to meet your legal needs

Can a Lawyer Represent Me in Courts Outside of Fort Smith, Arkansas?

Whether a lawyer can represent you in courts outside of your city or state depends on their licensure and the jurisdiction of the court:

  • Within the Same State:
Lawyers licensed in a particular state can typically practice anywhere within that state, including all cities and counties. They can represent you in both state and federal courts located in that state.
  • Outside of Their Licensed State:
If your case is in a different state, the lawyer must be licensed in that state to represent you. However, there are exceptions:
    • Pro Hac Vice Admission: An out-of-state lawyer can request special permission to represent a client in a specific case in another state. This requires filing a motion with the court and often working in conjunction with a local attorney.
    • Federal Courts: If your case is in federal court, a lawyer licensed in any state may be able to represent you, provided they are admitted to practice in that particular federal court.
  • International Representation:
For cases outside the United States, different rules apply, and the lawyer may need to comply with the foreign country's legal requirements or collaborate with local counsel.

It's important to discuss your specific situation with the lawyer to determine if they can represent you in the desired jurisdiction and what steps may be necessary to do so.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  • Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing. Most state bar websites have an online directory for this purpose.
  • Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case. Review their website, professional profiles, and case history.
  • Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association's records.
  • Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Google, or Yelp to gauge client satisfaction and experiences.
  • Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation in the legal community.
  • Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  • Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their abilities and professionalism.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  • Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as:
    • Contracts or agreements
    • Correspondence (emails, letters, texts)
    • Legal notices or court papers
    • Financial records (if applicable)
    • Evidence (photos, videos, receipts)
  • Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and parties involved. This helps the lawyer quickly understand the context.
  • List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, fees, or the lawyer's experience.
  • Financial Information:
If your case involves financial matters, bring relevant documents like pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or invoices.
  • Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case, including their names and contact information.
  • Personal Identification:
Bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points discussed.
  • Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations so the lawyer can provide appropriate guidance on fees and payment options.
