Hubert talked it up on the front end and then laid down once in court. Totally worthless. Literally I thought my defense attorney was working for the prosecution. DO NOT USE HUBERT. He will plea or do whatever to get you out of his system asap. Will not fight for you. Basically called me a liar. I was not guilty and my own defense attorney turned on me. I now have a 35k degree to pay for and a record that wont let me get a job. Thanks Hubert. Oh, and the review by the other poster...too true. You will not hear from Hubert after you pay him.

I DO NOT recommend using Hubert Alexander, he completely failed to represent me for a DWI case. I hired him specifically because he was so highly recommended. Our initial meeting lasted approximately 10 minutes, he made a few notes, took my $400 deposit, and then over the next 3 months he ignored all of the messages that I left with his extremely rude receptionist. Hubert finally called me less than 24hrs before my court date, we had a rushed conversation that lasted less than 5 min where he was not interested in answering my questions & explaining the proceedings to me. Most importantly he FAILED TO APPEAR for my case!!! As role was called, I was informed by the Prosceuting Attny that Hubert called in & decided to change my plea to guilty, without my input or undersanding of how this would impact me!!! I had to stand before the judge WITHOUT MY LAWYER with no idea of what to expect. At no point did he call me to discuss, and he hasn't bothered to call me since either to explain what happened!!!! What was the point of hiring a lawyer??? Hubert completely failed to represent me and does not deserve your money!!!!. This was the worst epxerience dealing with a lawyer in my life!!!
