I do not recommend this attorney to anyone unless you personally know him. I hired Mr. Campbell in June 2013 for the specific purpose of having my brother removed as my trustee under my father's trust. There was a provision that provided for a third party trustee to be appointed if there was cause to do so.
I paid Mr. Campbell a $5000 retainer. In 45 days Mr. Campbell exhausted the retainer and I had to pay him another $568. In the end Mr. Campbell never filed for a hearing like I requested and instead "pushed" me into a deal where my brother would only resign if given a waiver. When I refused Mr. Campbell then refused to take any further action as I had directed him and contracted with him to do so. The problem with Mr. Campbell is simply he has a serious attitude problem. He only wants to do what he wants to do. He doesn't take instruction well at all. He exhausted my retainer in reviewing documents, phone calls to opposing counsel, e-mails to and from opposing counsel and office visits. What I paid him for and asked him to do he refused to do. Mr. Campbell not only exhausted my retainer but he will keep working forcing a negative balance which he will force you to pay then demand another $5000 retainer. I spent over $5600 in phone calls and e-mails and nothing ever productive or substantial was ever accomplished. Filing a court hearing before a probate judge to appoint a new trustee is not a difficult or time consuming thing. However, Mr. Campbell refused to do what specifically I asked for and I finally had to fire him because I was spending about $700+ a week just for phone calls and e-mails to opposing counsel and he didn't have my best interests represented. I do not want other people to have the bad experience that I had with this attorney. All I wanted was access to the probate court to remove a bad trustee which I had a right under my father's trust to do. Mr. Campbell seemed more worried about getting paid than helping me.
