2
Caring and compassionate staff
“My experience with the Attorneys and the staff was amazing, everyone at Reddick Law was caring, compassionate and most of all listened ( sometimes over and over) to what we had to say.”
3
Knowledgeable and hardworking legal team
“To be successful, you need to do the detailed work that no one else is willing to do…Brian and Brent work strategically together to provide our clients and staff with that very same willingness to go the extra mile.”
4
Efficient and responsive communication
“I love the firm and everyone was so great at helping me with my legal situation! Definitely will recommend others to come.”
5
Personalized attention and support

Cons
1
Potential reluctance to take on difficult cases
“They claim to take cases protecting elders and the hard cases. That's not true. My grandma was abused, sent home naked, and mistaken for an end of Life patient. They said they couldn't take the case and had no feedback.”
2
Delays and lack of responsiveness
“After a week waiting for a response to an email inquiry, finally got a call back. They didn't get all information and even had the wrong body part. I'm still currently in treatment for the malpractice but they told me it has been too long.”
3
Failure to follow through on cases
“After a year of me having to call them and Reddick repeatedly losing medical records and not making any effort to get the records themselves, they call me after a year to say they no longer want to pursue the case.”

My experience with the Attorneys and the staff was amazing, everyone at Reddick Law was caring, compassionate and most of all listened ( sometimes over and over) to what we had to say. The circumstances surrounding my father's death was heartbreaking and neglect, it broke everyone's heart and could of been avoided. Reddick Law took care of us with amazing understanding and kept us informed the entire time, we prevailed in the end not that it would bring our husband, daddy and papo back but justice was served in his honor. Our family would very highly recommend Reddick Law for a situation that requires professional, caring and understanding for any of your legal needs.

This firm, Rob specifically, dragged my sister and I on for SEVEN months before deciding our fathers case was "too much of a risk" to pursue. He said that my father had preexisting conditions. None of his "preexisting conditions" are what killed him, but all of what DID kill him are in this firms supposed "case results". None of his conditions, which they knew all about when they wanted to jump on this case within a day, led to his brain injury, sepsis/shock, and kidney injury due to a neglected UTI. We would have been able to handle a death caused by his conditions, but this clearly wasn't. They told us we were free to look around for another firm, which we tried that, but kept getting denied and every firm mentioned the statute of limitations being only a year in Tennessee. This leads me to believe this is the REAL reason the case was suddenly dropped. Rob stuck us with a probate attorney who didn't think he got paid enough, so he dragged it along for three months before we were even able to sign the paperwork to file into court. Which he clearly didn't even do that. So now that the statute of limitations is almost up, they no longer want this case and no other firm does this late either. My father's obvious abuse and neglect has been swept under the rug for other families to deal with, and the way he passed should not EVER be swept under the rug! It wasn't ever about money to me. I wanted justice and closure in knowing what happened to my dad. He didn't deserve this. WE didn't deserve this. It's really no wonder nursing homes keep doing this, they keep getting away with it!

I just want to let people that look at this website know what a great bunch of men and women you guys are. Six years ago my family went through the most horrific experience. Our 9 year old daughter had a stroke and had to have a mechanic valve put into her heart.i contacted Rainwater,Holt and Sexton and was put into contact with Bob Sexton. For the last 6 years no matter when I need him he's always been there for me. I don't know what I would have done without these wonderful People. They truly care about people that they represent and their families. Thank you again, you guys are the best.

Mr. Sexton handled my auto accident case last year, and I couldn't have been happier with him and his staff. He was always available to speak with me about my case, and answered all my questions in a way that made sense to me. Although he was very professional, he is very personable and I felt more like I was dealing with a friend than an attorney. I would highly recommend Mr. Sexton and his firm, and would certainly use him again.

Don was successful at removing a mechanic’s lien on my home and evading litigation in a lawsuit brought against me by a residential contractor and his lawyer. Construction law is confusing and Don demonstrated expertise in that area as he left no page unturned and addressed every accusation filed against me (which were several) with swift, aggressive and thorough responses. Don’s dedication to my case was a humbling experience; he spent late nights and weekends collecting pertinent information to cover all bases, and in the end, it all worked to my favor, as I didn’t have to pay the opposing party a single penny. Don fought for my home as if it were his own and I will always be grateful that he took up my case.

I needed an attorney to represent me after my ex wife sued me. After consulting with a few attorneys I met Patty. Patty was very understanding, yet gave me the facts that I needed to properly address my circumstances. Patty is everything you need. Her knowledge and experience gave me comfort, while her strength and skill gave me what I wanted from the judge! She was able to guide me through a very difficult time. Nobody wants to be in a litigious situation, but if you are, Patty will represent you in an honest and skillful way that will give you the confidence you need to go to court.

Patty is kind but tough and imminently knowledgeable about the law. She was able to guide me through my divorce with expertise and empathy and always responded immediately to my phone calls and emails. With Patty's guidance, I felt empowered and certain that I was in good hands throughout the process.

I joking call Patty Lueken "Attorney of the Year " to her face and in correspondence, but the whole thing comes from a place of deep appreciation for her talent and her passion. Patty took my case from another attorney and quickly reacted to a number of sensitive and unresolved issues with real authority and direction - which ultimately led to a resolution I never even imagined possible. She combines aggressiveness, where needed, with calm, level headed and knowledgeable advice. As mine was a critical family law matter, she could step into my shoes as a mother with a deep understanding of a parent's priorities. Patty returns emails and phone calls quickly and treats all her clients as if they are her only one. One can expect unmatched service from Patty and her small, but mighty team!

Can a Lawyer Represent Me in Courts Outside of Little Rock, Arkansas?

Whether a lawyer can represent you in courts outside of your city or state depends on their licensure and the jurisdiction of the court:

  • Within the Same State:
Lawyers licensed in a particular state can typically practice anywhere within that state, including all cities and counties. They can represent you in both state and federal courts located in that state.
  • Outside of Their Licensed State:
If your case is in a different state, the lawyer must be licensed in that state to represent you. However, there are exceptions:
    • Pro Hac Vice Admission: An out-of-state lawyer can request special permission to represent a client in a specific case in another state. This requires filing a motion with the court and often working in conjunction with a local attorney.
    • Federal Courts: If your case is in federal court, a lawyer licensed in any state may be able to represent you, provided they are admitted to practice in that particular federal court.
  • International Representation:
For cases outside the United States, different rules apply, and the lawyer may need to comply with the foreign country's legal requirements or collaborate with local counsel.

It's important to discuss your specific situation with the lawyer to determine if they can represent you in the desired jurisdiction and what steps may be necessary to do so.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  • Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing. Most state bar websites have an online directory for this purpose.
  • Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case. Review their website, professional profiles, and case history.
  • Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association's records.
  • Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Google, or Yelp to gauge client satisfaction and experiences.
  • Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation in the legal community.
  • Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  • Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their abilities and professionalism.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  • Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as:
    • Contracts or agreements
    • Correspondence (emails, letters, texts)
    • Legal notices or court papers
    • Financial records (if applicable)
    • Evidence (photos, videos, receipts)
  • Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and parties involved. This helps the lawyer quickly understand the context.
  • List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, fees, or the lawyer's experience.
  • Financial Information:
If your case involves financial matters, bring relevant documents like pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or invoices.
  • Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case, including their names and contact information.
  • Personal Identification:
Bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points discussed.
  • Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations so the lawyer can provide appropriate guidance on fees and payment options.
  • Openness and Honesty:
Be prepared to discuss your case candidly. Full disclosure allows the lawyer to give accurate advice and anticipate potential challenges.
