Going through a divorce is an extremely scary thing to do. I never felt alone going through this process with my lawyer, Sidney Stewart. She was with me every step of the way. She explained what I was going to expect, she answered the texts and calls, and emails that I sent her promptly. Sidney went above and beyond, actually. She was professional, and courteous and empathetic with me. When you go through a divorce, you have a tendency to feel extremely vulnerable, because your life is about to drastically change and you are not only changing your life but the life of your partner and the life of your child, as well. You want someone who is knowledgeable, and professional, courteous and kind as you go through that. I could not imagine going through this with anyone else other than Sidney. I have recommended and will continue to recommend Taylor & Taylor to any and everyone.

Sidney is THE BEST!... After a very difficult few years of trying to receive visitation of a non-biological child (who is also the sibling of my own child) that I raised for the majority of this life. Finally, in 2019, through another law office, did win my visitation battle. Unfortunately, the biological parents ended up in Contempt of Court not once, but twice regarding my visitation within less than three (3) months. The attorney who I worked with during the first trial was no longer practicing Private Practice, so I had to find another attorney to assist me with my plight. Frustrated, I reached out to a "lie-yer" who I assumed would help me with my plight. Instead, he began to try to engage/entice me into an inappropriate relationship with him". When I denied him, he fired me and took the money that I had paid him with him. Devastated, untrusting, and broke, I found Sidney through Taylor and Taylor Law Firm, P.A., by chance. Honestly, the receptionist who answered the phone is why I stayed on the phone to wait to speak with Sidney. She was kind and empathetic towards me. Then, Sidney, actually, was available to speak with me. Always professional and courteous, Sidney was also direct with me regarding my situation; but she did it with grace. She was understanding and concerned, but she made sure that she assisted me with the law and not her emotions. She was focused, dedicated, timely, and, most importantly, she was AMAZING at her job. Her preparation with me for court kept us in the good graces of the judge; even with the communication during trial was contentious. Thankfully, I ended up winning my Contempt of Court case as well as receiving additional, mandatory time with the non-biological child of mine. The icing on the cake is when Sidney got the judge to award me the majority of my legal fees back as well. I cannot express how much I appreciate everything Sidney did for me during this difficult, seemingly, never ending "saga" that was my custody battle. Sidney didn't promise to work "magic" for me, but she did promise me to do everything that she could to help me; and she did. Thus, she was able to pull off a miracle in the courtroom for me and my children! THANK YOU, again, Sidney, and everyone at Taylor and Taylor Law Firm, P.A.!!
