MBK Chapman is a law firm that represents owners filing suits against their homeowners' association (HOA) or condominium owners' association (COA) as well as other real estate issues. Although expensive, this firm is worth it. (Face it, lawsuits are almost always costly.) I was okay the work done by my attorney, James Walter, of the Boca Raton office. He put the work into preparing my case, which went well.

Received a consultation sounded really good. Was told that we would have retainer information by Monday and then never heard from the again. We are at Day 10 still not retainer contract? Is this what kind of service I can look forward too. I’m already getting no response from my HOA. Thanks for all the help.

Spoke with two employees from this company. They refused my request to keep audio records during our interactions. I am a disabled veteran with mental deficiencies that make it very difficult to keep written notes and I live alone with no one to assist. They were EXTREMELY unsympathetic to my needs, and had a nasty undertone to their voice at the end of the call. I will never be contacting this company again.

The process of Mediation was never explained to me. Had it been, I never would have proceeded. Lost $12,000 in legal fees with zero results. Do your homework on this firm!

The guidance and representation we got at MBK Chapman was unlike any other previous experiences I had with attorneys. Over the years I was confronted with several legal issues, business matters, governmental legal questions, estate issues... MBK Chapman was not my first contact on all, we had come from other frustrated experiences and were very impressed about the solution finding skills present here in this law firm. You definitely want this team on your side, trust me! This office is tuned in to you from start to end. They do not waste your money, they are right on the essence of your case and have a skillset that is absolutely amazing. Professional, compassionate, honest and effective.

The worst experience with lawyers! They are totally money orientated and the worst communication and client service! They do not care about the client, just pay! After spending @ $15.000 in "Analysis of the case" nothing was done. They charge by the hour and use lots of hours to do nothing! Sara Etemadi, Michael Zar and all them sucks! I would never recommend these people, they are the once that create the lawyers' bad reputation!!! 0 stars ! Really bad!

10,000 of my money for 5 months and I'm still waiting. The worst company I've ever met. They tell you what you want to hear and after they get your money there are no phone calls from th'em. My initial consultation was with Sara Etemadi. She asked for $10,000 to get started on the case.After I paid them a $10,000 retainer, every time I called, the office manager kept saying the attorney would call and no one Did for over a month. The attorney who was finally assigned to the case was Jason Boss. I had 6 scheduled telephonic appointments with him that were canceled by Jason Boss minutes before the scheduled time. When we finally spoke to Jason Boss, he mumbled some things in which I told him it has nothing to do with our case, then he panicked and while I was still on the phone he send me a bill via email. He then said Sara Etemadi was going to call with more information. She never did. I called back and she pretended she didn't know anything about it and got Michael Kushner on the phone who said "I conduct my business the way I see fit " and then hung up the phone. They don't answer any of my calls, I wrote them letters asking for my retainer back. It's been 5 months and I haven't gotten any response from them. Don't get fooled by their initial review of your case. It's never what they say, they change it around as they see fit. They think they are above the law, they take your money and they abandon you. I'm still waiting.

Give them your money and they won’t bother to return your calls. They called after I wrote this review, stated they knew that my attorney was not doing her job. I returned their call and guess what??? THEY DID NOT RETURN MY CALL! I see that they have time to reply to my negative review but not time to return my call. I would have thought that someone would have called me??? That’s the way I do business. Unfortunately, it does not appear to be the way this law firm does business. I stand by my review. BUYER BEWARE!

Spoke with Erik for phone consultation in the early Fall of 2021, after being recommended by colleague of his on previous opposing cases. Was considering hiring Erik as an additional probate litigator when our family estate came into internal conflict and my own estate attorney was loosing my confidence. I was in tension of being both the estate administrator and also a beneficiary. Erik listened very well, asked good questions, educated me on the options and process before me, but most of all- he validated and relieved my concerns. To my surprise and relief, he said I did not need to hire him at my stage, and affirmed the course and role I was taking. He also expressed personal interest in hearing how the case developed afterwards and being available for questions and second-opinions at no charge. This was one of the few professionals I spoke-with over this probate journey who had a humble, kind, and servant-character of going above and beyond. Thank you Erik!
