Troy Monge is an amazing attorney. He guided us through all the steps necessary for a Social Security claim; what medical records we needed; statements from the doctors and everything we needed. We knew it would be a long process with a denial or two (in our case) along the way, but we always felt confident and encouraged that he was there for us. And at the end, he was. Our claim was approved!

Troy tells it straight. He doesn't sugar coat anything and he'll see right through you if you're exaggerating your injuries. You'll do your own legwork to collect your medical records, so be prepared for that. Small talk is not his strong point. Just follow his instructions and don't bother arguing with him. The SSDI process is complicated and emotionally taxing. People who are living in chronic pain should not be forced to expend what little energy they have fighting to prove that they are disabled. It's not right. But that's where we are and you're going to need an experienced lawyer on your side to help you navigate the process. In spite of his glowing personality, hiring Troy was one of the best decisions I've made. He kept me focused and stayed engaged. I don't know what would have happened to me if I hadn't received SSDI benefits. I'm really glad I engaged Troy and didn't have to find out.

This was my second appeal after a few bad experiences. I went to him on a referral from another firm who'd refused to represent me because of time restraints. Yes, I'd waited until the last minute. I was intimidated by the process, but that's neither here nor there. Mr Monge took my case (with only a week left until my hearing) and he immediately took action. He is knowledgeable as to what needs to happen, even with a case as messy and disorganized as mine. He very quickly assessed my case, gave me a list of documents I needed and stayed on top of every item. Even with my limited resources, he won my case. This attorney knows what is required by the judges and he is honest and upfront about attaining those items. I can't express enough my enormous gratitude.

I called seeking guidance, the lady put me on hold. I told her I was handicapped and walked into a Kohl's department store and despite politely asking Kohl's management for help with bringing in returned items, I was told by managememt nobody was available to help me. The law office lady said......"okay okay stop..we don't handle that type of claim we only do disability" I politely asked her for a referral from the Attorney, the lady said "call Legal Aid"
