I have been working with Lalit Kundani of Kundani and Chang Associates for the last two years for three of our Biotechnology Companies. Lalit has been extremely helpful in drafting various business agreements such as Supply Agreement, IP License Agreement, Material Transfer Agreement, Operating Agreement and NDA to mention a few. Our family did an estate plan many years back when my wife and me bought a house. We wanted to update it to include our kids in case something happened to us. We also bought some other properties that needed to be added. A coworker colleague of mine referred Lalit Kundani so I called and we met with him for an initial 2 hour consultation (free). He went over my old plan and pointed out things where actually the law changed and why my plan would cost more. We didn't realize how much the law on this stuff changes pretty frequently so you either need to be on top of it yourself or get an attorney who will review your plans for you. Long story short, I ended up redoing my plan completely instead of updating it, to take advantage of some of the tax savings with these recent changes. The plan cost about double what I had paid initially, but worth every penny. My old plan would have sent my assets to probate and my old attorney basically had a "set it and forget it" mentality. Kundani & Chang said they will go through my docs regularly and let me know when the law changes and things need to be updated. Great experience working with him, they know their stuff!!

My husband and I found out about Kudnani & Chang after I delivered with our second. They did a webinar on legal guardianship for kids. We contacted them to create a Kids protection plan that would ensure legal guardians for my kids were named in case anything happened to me or my husband. My sister did something similar and we were just expecting a simple document but the whole packet/binder is very professional that they did for us. There was also a lot of other things they covered for us that we never thought about!! It took a couple weeks to get everything done but the process is very easy and painless. I've referred all of our friends with kids there too and they take care of everyone. The most important thing for us was peace of mind and I would strongly recommend them again.

Lalit is an extremely thorough and knowledgeable attorney. He outlined a plan of action to take care of a criminal matter that my brother had pending against him.
