I hired Heather June of 2020 for a Child Custody/DVRO case. She was always very professional and conducted herself well in the courtroom. I was pleased with her representing me because I thought all lawyers were like her. However, I have since been able to work with another lawyer about my same case. I quickly realized that not all operated the way Heather does. I know the saying goes, "A busy lawyer, is a good lawyer." Well, there is a point when too busy is NOT GOOD. I didn't know this while working with Heather but I know now that not all lawyers don't have time to return your calls, not all lawyers show up to hearings 30 minutes late and have to take you outside to get an update on the case, after clearly not looking at the case file since the last hearing (this happened every hearing). I also know that not all lawyers neglect explaining court orders to their client. I am now very disappointed with the service provided by Heather and her team. I hate writing this because they are all so nice and seem to be very knowledgeable of family law. I only write this for other single parents seeking a Lawyer that will pay attention to their case and make sure they fight 100% whole heartedly. I am thankful that I now have a different lawyer that has already made a huge difference in my case. Hire Heather because she is very professional and knowledgeable. But please be sure she provides the proper service your case requires. I didn't know while I had her, or I would have held her more accountable. Heather is great, I was in a bad spot one morning, in my car literally trying to find a lawyer for the hearing that morning. Heather came thru clutch for me, this case has been such a battle but Mrs. Hinton has never let me down , she works on payment arrangements and down right has the heart of an angel. We’ve been going against the most manipulative baby monster out there, with a very pushy attorney. The courts are very biased against fathers in this county, but through hard work, wit, things are better and it couldn’t have been without her. Thank you Mrs. Hinton ❤️

Hinton was hired on a family law case she didn't show up for our court date nor did she call the courts or myself with an explanation, and now is refusing to refund any of the 2500 we paid her. Shes very un professional and uncaring . I would not recommend her to my worst enemy....

I went to Heather because she was referred from a friends friend. The first time we met I thought it was really unprofessional how she had her dog in the office. I was desperate to get help from someone so I hired her immediately. The second time we met I felt like she’s very unorganized and unsure with her work. Heather didn’t have anything prepped in advanced or even check into the case before I got there. But she’s very quick on having you pay CASH or ZELLE and have you sign a contract without her telling you the plan. The day she went to represent my fiancé at court he mentioned she was very nervous and she wasn’t even that familiar with his case...she’s very nice. But not too sure if she’s good at her job.

I have been have some Civil Legal issues that my wife and I were considering to pursue. I contacted Heather's Law Office expecting to hear back from a paralegal but Heather, herself, responded to my concerns.
