Ryan was awesome! Just what we’d hoped for! He responded immediately to all our questions and we asked a ton! Ryan met frequently with our incarcerated loved one helping him to know what was happening. Ryan is incredibly knowledgeable of the law and can explain it in ways you can understand. We are very thankful for having found him and appreciate all he did for us so very much!

I was charged with 9 felonies I was facing a minimum of 3 months in jail with the first attorney, He was not able to successfully negotiate with the DA. But after I hired Mr. COUZENS he was very proactive in handling my case and worked very hard to come up to speed regarding my situation. He was very effective in his reasoning and negotiations with the Judge and the DA. He communicated with me regularly and returned my calls promptly, and was very responsive. He was successful at reducing my charges to a probation time and a community services time as well, with ( Zero ) day in jail . Honestly I can't say enough positively words about how Mr. COUZENS is. I haven’t had a lot of attorneys throughout my life, but this was definitely the best experience I’ve had with them. Mr. Couzens was positive, respectful, and very easy to talk to. He also got my charges dropped from felony to misdemeanor and my sentence reduced from jail to informal probation. Attorney Ryan Couzens helped prevent a major crisis not only for my family member that he was representing but for our entire family. My family member had just recently relapsed due to his medications being switched by his doctors. He was then jailed and was accused of trafficking when that was not the case. Attorney Couzens used his expertise and skills to be able to advocate for my family member to access supportive services such as rehab, which the court was originally against. He was successful in doing this and my family member entered rehab. My family member truly needed rehab rather than being jailed and creating more trauma, which would result in worsening his substance use issues rather than finding a solution to them. In less than a year, my family member successfully completed the rehab program and has been clean since. This would not have been the outcome if Attorney Couzens had not represented my family member.
