hands down the best lawyer in town.. he fought my annulment case and won every piece of it.. like everyone says he is a bull dog when it comes to trial time.. best lawyer he know his stuff..

Kilpatrick is the best in the business. He fought hard for me in my case. I got custody of my son, It was a process but I went from not being able to see my son to having custody and for a dad to get custody in California it's rare. Highly recommended mr. Kilpatrick a little pricey but it pays off at the end.

I like Mr. Kilpatrick. I believe he fights for you as a client, he is straight forward and aggressive, but his partner Andrew Smith isn't the best. Extremely insensitive, argumentative, rude and no people skills. Mr. Smith talks down to you as though you are lying and doesn't handle things in a professional manner at all. Always try to see Michael personally if you can.

Taking kids away from their mother in the state of California takes an act of god or a very skilled attorney, Mr. Kilpatrick is very professional, he represented me (dad) and did everything he told me he would, nothing was sugar coated and he didn’t waste any of my time or money, along with making me feel very confident and easing all my worries.

Mr. Kilpatrick spent a good deal of time with me, explaining the system and how it works. The legal system, in my view, is the problem. He was fair with me when I brought a charge on my account that I felt was unfair and immediately credited back the money, with no arguments or questions asked. He is a bull dog and not afraid to fight hard for you, as long as you follow his advice!

My boyfriend has Mr. Kilpatrick for his divorce/custody case that has been going on for over a year now and I am not impressed so far. We watched Mr. Kilpatrick in court for a few months and were sure he was the one and now we are not sure.

Mr. Kilpatrick is one of the top attorneys in Bakersfield. I lost horribly in my divorce then came back fighting with kilpatrick and nnow have everything in my favor. He may cost a little more but the respect judges have for him is priceless!

Mr kilpatrick is a good attorney when he can concentrate. He was going through a rough period personally during the time I retained him to handle my divorce. He did a great job protecting my children from a very ineffective minors counsel, a gender biased judge, and a completely disfunctional family law court system. He was very highly recommeded by attorneys Klink and Rubio. He is tough and will not back down from fighting for justice when he believes it must prevail. There were a lot of other issues besides the child custody. There was real estate matters that were very complicated and he handled them like a champion. Mr. kilpatrick is a good family law attorney, especially when theres children involved.
