John is a no-nonsense and unassuming attorney. Being an accountant, I happen to deal with a lot of attorneys on a regular basis for my clients and I have to admit that not many attorneys do what John does for their clients; John under-promises and over-delivers. John represented me before Kern County Superior Court Lamont Division regarding a traffic infraction/citation. The result was much better than my expectation. John completely got my traffic citation dismissed. Going forward, I will refer my clients in the Bakersfield area to John's office in case my clients need legal assistance. And thank you John

Mr. Lidgett is a unbelievably wonderful attorney. I still can't believe what he done for me. It's really unbelievable! No other attorney would have cared or tried as much as Mr. Lidgett did. He always gave me hope, when in reality in a case like mine there was no hope. For 2 an a half years, Mr. Lidgett would always tell me there's a small chance we could win. I always thought he was just trying to cheer me up, (sweet guy). But when I seen him in action during trial, he preformed amazingly! Even if I would have lost my trial, I would not regret hiring Mr. Lidgett, he fights very hard, and he fights even harder on a appeal. He started as my attorney, and we ended being Friends.

I got caught in a speed trap 300 miles away from home. I found John on the Avvo site, filled out and submitted the short form and he immediately called me. He explained what he would try to accomplish, what was possible and warned me that there were no guarantees. However, everything he he said he would try, he accomplished, so my speed was reduced so that I qualified for traffic school, the fine was reduced by 75% and the date was extended since I was scheduled to be out of the country for the period on on the citation. A few times when I had questions, he was quickly back in touch and made me feel confident that I had chosen the right person.
