George went above and beyond for my daughter and I to protect us for my ex and protect my daughter from him. I could not say more great things about this man. He is truly an amazing lawyer. He has an amazing staff.

I hired George in 2014 for my Divorce and it was smooth and finalized in 7 months. I hired him again in 2017 for a grandparent visitation case, and he is so knowledgeable and never gives you false hope. He is always straight forward and will never steer you wrong. I trust him with all of my family law cases and will never trust anyone else. He is very intimidating in the courtroom And comforting to know he is very respected. He is very knowledgeable about all the laws and does his homework. I trust all of his staff and they are very prompt in answering the phones and emails. They are very busy but George looks you in the eyes and gives you time to ask all the questions you may have. I have retained him again for an upcoming child custody case and I know he will do amazing things and always does the right things. I will never trust another attorney, he is truly the BEST!

I retained George Horrigan in September 2016, from the start he was very up front about what was realistic for the outcome of my case (grandparent visitation case) He never gave me false hope, and read all the facts, did his research before advising anything.. I 100% trusted him and two years of going to court I got the ruling in my favor. So appreciative of all all the hard work from his & his paralegal! Money well spent!!

Mr. Horrigan is straight forward, tells it like it is, and doesn’t beat around the bush. If you want an attorney that everyone respects and knows he means business then Mr. Horrigan is your man. When I first met with him it was in the hallway of the courthouse and he sat with me and explained to me what I need to do. I went in asked the judge for a Continuance, the judge granted it and I retained Mr. Horrigan and it was all uphill from there. If I could give Mr. Horrigan a higher rating I would I can not thank him and his paralegal enough they make a fantastic team!!!

From the first phone consultation to the separation from Mr. Horrigan as a client, he and his entire staff have been nothing but unprofessional. He presents himself as bully - which is entirely true - sadly he isn't picky about who he chooses to bully. Clients included. His staff is unhelpful, UN-knowledgeable and they do not return phone calls. His paralegal failed to properly submit my paperwork, which she claimed was due to my not having provided proper information, however a secondary paralegal in the same office was able to submit the EXACT same paper work with no problems - nearly 2 months later. This resulted in a rescheduled court date, of which I was not notified and would not have known if I hadn't called myself to follow up the day before. Additionally, I attempted to contact paralegal #1 for over 2 weeks with no success before, upon my demand, they forwarded my paperwork to paralegal #2. During which time the receptionist would take my name, number, and would assure me a call back that I would never receive. On my (second) court date which was scheduled to start at 8:30, I did not see or hear from Mr. Horrigan until 9:25. I sat in a courtroom with no visible representation for nearly an hour before he showed up. I found out the day after that his receptionist EMAILED me while I was in the courtroom to tell me that he was looking for me. No phone call, no text. An email. IN COURT, while under extreme stress stemming from a year and half long battle over my divorce and trying to make the best decision possible for my family (children) Mr. Horrigan accused me of hiding things, called me passive aggressive, told me that he felt like he was fighting me, told me that I was unable to make good decisions, threatened to remove himself from my case, yelled at me outside of the courtroom, demanded that I stop raising my voice at him (all the while he is pointing and continuing to yell in my face) chastised me in the courtroom in front of the judge, my ex and his attorney, and ultimately removed himself as council. That decision was actually made very loudly and publicly in the hallway after I refused to let him bully me into make a choice that I was more uncomfortable with that the one that I ultimately made in mediation. The only good thing that I can say is that he quickly refunded my entire retainer BUT even that was not without it's problems as Mr. Horrigan moved his offices - something his receptionist failed to mention. So I went to the office I knew, on my lunch hour, only to be redirected to a new location. I do not respect nor do I recommend Mr. Horrigan in any way. He took an absolutely terrible situation and etched it into my brain as one of the most embarrassing, horrific, days of my life.

I hired Gorge based on a referral from a friend, the best family law attorney in Kern County! The best decision a person could make! Always knew what, when and who. Not one trip to the court room. After 4 months, done! Thank you George
