Got a speeding ticket between Mammoth & Los Angeles end of May. At that time, learned that my driver’s license had expired ~6 mos prior. Continued to check online to pay the ticket weekly & even called Ridgecrest (Kern) Superior Court on multiple occasions, only to hear that the ticket wasn’t in the system yet. My experience with Mr. Underwood and his team was incredible. I was in deep water looking at a strike, 3 violent felonies, and 3 misdemeanors of which 2 were considered violent. The nature of my case is rather simple, a verbal altercation occurred between myself and a man under the influence and next thing I know I get sucker punched. As a mom you never want to get the call that your child has been arrested for DWI but if you do you try and help. I got up and started searching the internet looking for the best attorney to take his case. I sent email to one and by morning I received a call from a fast talking attorney. 16,000 upfront. I went in to pay and met with this attorneys Junior Colleague. This man told me and my son that they had already seen the video from the police department and said this was going to be no problem getting dismissed because they had no reason to pull him over. We waited patiently for 2 years. After 2 years we called and demanded a meeting. My husband and I went in and this was the first time ever to see the attorney and the first time to speak to him since the morning of the incident. 2 years…That day we asked to see the video and he told us there was no video. At that moment my husband knew we had hired the wrong man. A DWI is serious and you want someone who is honest and not there just to take your money.
