Mr. Brehmer is an excellent attorney. My case was extremely hard as I was involved in an accident as well. He helped me through the entire process explaining every step so I could have a piece of mind. His technical knowledge in the field clearly shows when he was able make the cases and the office dropped all the charges. His services are well worth it at his current rate. Highly recommended!!!

Having never been through any legal problem, and almost not even contacting an attorney for my DUI, I set up an appointment with Mr. Brehmer just to review my case and it's the best decision I could have made. My situation was not typical but he thoroughly explained what he would do with my case, reassured me he could get me excellent results and was always very professional. Has extensive knowledge and experience and he more than delivered. Yes, it took about a year but it was well worth it. My charges were reduced down to a misdemeanor and not a DUI, no points on my driving record, no insurance increase and just a small fine. I'm just glad I made that first phone call. I have worked very, very hard in my life to be a pillar in my community through a solid career, volunteerism, community engagement, and an ordained ministry. After two months of living in Ridgecrest, I was searching for a church one evening when I was “cherry-picked” by a 26-year-old rookie with a very colorful career background. I was driving a bright red rental car with out-of-state plates, and I was told there was a light out on the back of the vehicle. I admitted to the eager, young and ambitious officer that I had indeed consumed some alcohol at a restaurant a few blocks back up the street. Then my nightmare began…. I will not go into a lengthy description of the events that transpired that evening, but I am still in disbelief at what little regard for my rights there was that evening. I have documented twenty-four ancestors who participated in the American Revolution and in my back ground there are generations of service to this country. I take my rights which were hard-earned by our Patriots very seriously, but it all went out the window that evening. I contacted Mr. Brehmer with regard to my situation, and I will never regret having made that correct decision. In my previous town, I knew an attorney who attends the National College for DUI Defense which holds summer sessions at Harvard Law School. Upon finding out that Mr. Brehmer was involved with the NCDD, I knew that I had retained the best. I never set foot in court. My license was never suspended. I was acquitted of a very serious charge, and others were dismissed. Mr. Brehmer was a brilliant legal strategist throughout the maze of hearings and evidence. Although I was very anxious about my future, Ms. Morales and Ms. Ramirez were very patient with me, and the mycase website system was amazing at keeping me informed on the details as the case unfolded. Mr. Brehmer got my non alcohol related DUI completely reduced to only paying a small fine. He got my under the influence of of a controlled substance charge totally dismissed and definitely did an amazing job. It took almost 2 years but I can finally put this behind me.

Hands-down the best DUI attorney in Bakersfield, and certainly one of the best in the nation. This guy is an incredibly competent, HIGHLY effective, and industry-recognized professional. I recently engaged Jeremy in a DUI matter that might not be considered typical. He was extremely thorough in researching things involving my health and the circumstance of the event. His firm was very responsive and they provide tools to communicate with the Attorneys and Paralegals that I don't think you'll find too many other places. I went out with my friends and believed I'd done everything right. No more than one drink per hour for about 4 hours. When I was arrested for DUI I was devastated. I assumed if I was arrested I must have been guilty. Mr Brehmer's office discovered that the test they used was expired and therefore not credible. I never would have known to check or what to do if I did know it was expired. He handled the DMV, so there was no loss of my driving privileges and he appeared many times on my behalf until the case was dropped. He saved me and my family from catastrophe. Just call him.
