Crooks , lazy will take your money and do nothing

These people took my money did nothing on a case I had. Then like vultures find out I just had a car accident next thing you kno I'm signed up with them for that as well. Worst decision ever. I settled my case in May and still haven't received my money. They said a doctor who they consistently work with is holding out on his lien for more money. The money already cleared in there account.

RUNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!! This is by far the worst law firm we have ever dealt with all they will do is ROB YOU FOR EVERYTHING and not do nothing for you my husbands case has been over and done with since June and they still taking money out of his account they are so unprofessional they told us they will refund us our money had us wait all week just to tell us that they will no longer refund us because we passed our 10 our mark that makes no sense my husband paid over 30,000 on this law firm and had no results! Go elsewhere is u want results

The worst experience ever. I settled my civil case 5 months ago and still haven't got paid. It's so much bullshit with these guys idk how there still in business. I assume they just rob there clients. I'm about to file a formal complaint at this point. I had them for a criminal case before I got tricked into this civil case. They did literally nothing for the 10k I put up. So I demanded a receipt for everything they did on my case to justify 10k and when they couldn't itemize everything to that amount I ended up getting half my money back.

When I read the negative reviews I said no way, I was completely wrong!! Run away as fast as you can, incompetent does not describe these thieves. They want money before even speaking to you. If you ever heard an attorney joke it was written about this law firm, not sure you can even call them a law firm. If you read any of these reviews and still call them you have been warned. It can’t get worse. It’s sad that they are allowed to prey on people.

I don’t even know where to begin. I’ve been a client of DRE, A.P.C. for about two years . I called for help with a DCFS case after a home invasion left me permanently disabled . Shoutout to Chad who returned my call, explained everything to me and notified me of a possible PI lawsuit for myself. I signed on . Ultimately my children were returned to my care and DCFS reunited us so having representation helped and my family was made whole thanks to DRE A.P.C. Fast forward a year and a half and I meet Darren Richie ESQUIRE. He decided to represent me personally . I also meet Marcella . Who is the best paralegal I could have hoped for . Always responded to any questions and emails , returned calls promptly . Worked with me to get any information I needed and all concerns resolved . I received calls from Darren weekly to either update me or just check on how me or the children were doing. He took the time to explain everything step by step . Paperwork was made easy. They were gracious when I was late to any appointments . Allowed me to take my time and made the entire process smooth and comfortable . I know the law firm had had some changes in the past two years and I will say everyone has a valid experience. But my own has been above any expectation and I am humbled by the way this firm took care of my family . Thank you DRE and I wish you the best with all future clients and a lot of success.

Part one: If you’re going through anything close to what I’ve been through in the last couple years, you’ll stare clear of this Law Office! I was down to my last bit of money, post divorce, and a DCFS case that my ex-husband entangled me into. I thought that this Law Office was my last chance to get my son back from my ex-husband who kept him from me for the past two years. When my attorney first contacted me, I have already been so doubtful that anyone would be able to help me gain any kind of footing in these legal proceedings. Everything was going surprisingly in every right direction as my evidentiary hearing was approaching. This evidentiary hearing was supposed to be the final opportunity that I would have to present a case, proving the alienation that my ex-husband has put between My Son and I, the fraudulent tax paperwork, and documents that he had submitted and so many other grounds that were going to get covered at last. Not long before the hearing I couldn’t get a hold of my attorney, which was strange, but I just figured she was busy and she’ll get back to me when she could. That wasn’t the case at all after about 3 to 4 weeks. I finally called the office and asked what was going on with my attorney and they finally let me know that she was no longer with the firm. What I couldn’t figure out was if that was the case, why did she or someone from the office not contact me and inform me that she was not gonna be representing me so that we can figure out what to do from there I wasn’t giving courtesy I not called I don’t think they would even have reached out to shape or form. so from there, they let me know that they were assigning another associate to my case. No, this guy floored me at his chauvinistic, arrogant and dismissive behavior or demeanor. He had no empathy and I know that there’s not much you can expect from attorneys their lawyers, we all know the stigma and the stereotypes in the Challenges that come with hiring an attorney, however to dismiss someone who is counting on you and is paying every penny they make to ensure some kind of representation so that they can get their kids back I had never seen anyone act like this guy did so I called the office manager, made my complaints known Ended up Shadow a phone call that I had with him and pacify the situation but nothing came. No kind of disciplinary actions were taken at least to satisfy the client in a sense. They assigned another gentleman to my case who seemed a bit sweeter however dismissive, nonetheless, I had went into panic mode , because this gentleman was so brief on the phone would not schedule a sit down to discuss my evidentiary hearing that was coming up in less than four weeks and nobody seems to care the day before my hearing I spoke to him and he kept insisting that Mike court date was not an evidence hearing that it was a Follow up to from months prior try to explain to him that he was wrong. I tried to get him to understand my panic and worry and concerned that this is not gonna go as originally discussed when I first came to Dre Law and he was dismissive the next morning at court. He’s nowhere to be seen not that I ever met him or seen his face , apparently they don’t do that at Law Office but he did not show up physically at least he called in and when they when the judge expressed to him that if he was prepared for this evidentiary hearing, he stammered and stuttered over the phone requested to have a recess and in the hallway Wanted to die. I was humiliated in front of my ex and his attorney in front of a judge who I’m supposed to be conveying very brokenhearted mother situation get a fair judgment or fair orders put in place and this guy was not even willing to prepare himself to pretend like he knew what he was doing , needless to say the evidence hearing was a flop no orders not even a follow up court date until my ex and I went to mediation.
