If you are looking for an honest, efficient, knowledgeable, and diligent real estate attorney, look no further Mr. Bob Benjy is your guy! I interviewed over 10 different attorneys to try and help my mom resolve a situation where she was in contract selling her house but the buyer's weren't performing, breached the contract and were unreachable even after being sent a formal Notice to Perform multiple times and a Demand to Close escrow. She had no choice but to cancel the contract. Then, all of the sudden the buyers resurface and this time with an attorney trying to make up bogus claims against my mom. What should have been a simple, standard and smooth real estate transaction suddenly became a substantial headache with high stake risks involved. Consultation after consultation with multiple different attorneys only made this situation that much more frustrating when all were saying different things, weren't very confident in their knowledge or approach and still wanted paid exceptionally high retainers. All but one of course, Mr. Benjy was different. He knows his stuff. Explaining the situation was a breeze; he was not at all intimidated of the situation like the other attorneys. He's sharp, quick witted, knew exactly what the situation was, and knew exactly what to do. I immediately felt at ease and confident after speaking with him. He was clear, concise and honest about the risks involved. He laid out the 2 possible approaches and didn’t beat around the bush or try and drag it out for more money which I appreciated. We retained him and he got to work immediately. Mr. Benjy is unlike most attorneys. He really seemed to care and genuinely wanted to help. You don't get pushed off to his office staff after retaining him. He takes care of you personally and directly, even calls you from his cell phone if he has to, and is always reachable. Mr. Benjy is persistent and relentless. He will not stop until you succeed even working after hours. He does anything he has to do to get the job done. I was never left in the dark. He was in constant contact with us and the other attorney and negotiated masterfully always protecting his client's best interest first and foremost. He got the buyers to sign an agreement to close, all cash, within 2 days! It was seriously remarkable that he was able to resolve this painstaking situation in just 1 day and at an extremely reasonable cost when we had been battling with it for months. Unfortunately, in my lifetime I have had to deal with multiple different attorneys spending upwards of 100k total for those subpar services. While I ultimately succeeded, it cost me, a lot, both financially and emotionally. Not once have I ever received any of a retainer back from an attorney ... until now. I was shocked and amazed; Mr. Benjy actually notified us that he put a check in the mail giving us back most of the retainer because he worked so efficiently. Initially, I was hesitant in contacting him thinking he would be far too costly for us because he's located in Beverly Hills. Boy was I wrong. My only regret is not calling him sooner.  No one wants to be in a situation where you have to hire an attorney but if you find yourself in need or are wondering if you could use one, do yourself a favor and call Bob Benjy.
