Great representation! I highly suggest anyone in need of support contact them. They were there every step of the way with me. I was kind of down some of the way but their team really helped me stay in good spirits and to receive what I knew and they knew I deserved. Awesome experience all the way through beginning to end. I didn't realize how complicated an unemployment hearing could get, my file started small and grew to a big mess. Very grateful for pershing square. Remember you have to speak to a judge face to face and today law is filled with so much gobbledygook you can easily say the wrong thing. My attorney Charlie really has a passion for what he does, he cares about clients, really understood my frustration( EDD are incompetent!) and helped coach me on how to handle things and understand the law in regards to UI. He called me days before to prep me, the morning of to prep me and they are even present via conference call during the actual hearing. I really dont know what would have happened without him. Needless to say we got every item overturned! If youre like me youre worried about spending money to hire a lawyer when you have no income and EDD denied you any hope...I get it...But to me what seemed like a small error from EDD became a large file for the judge, theyre crazy over there! If I didnt hire an attorney I wouldnt have even known! As far as attorneys fees go they offered me more than a fair deal. I'm actually genuinely surprised at how affordable and flexible they are. Even more surprised that I feel I got MORE than my moneys worth. A rare group indeed. Thank you pershing square, Thank you Charlie!

When I discovered that my former employer had fabricated complete lies about my conduct at work and attempted to slander my name and also succeeded in getting my rightful unemployment denied to me I was at a complete loss of what to do. I called a number of lawyers who were all dismissive and/or told me I didn't have a case. I was starting to feel really disheartened and didn't think there would be a way out of this and that my former company would get away with all of these heinous untruths and lack of justice. Then - Assaf called me back after leaving a message at his firm. He was incredibly willing and open to speak to me and hear all of the particulars of the case completely. His energy was fantastic and he said we have a case! Throughout the weeks leading up to the hearing he was always available and we spoke many times and he was always willing to give me an enormous amount of his time and energy. He guided me through the entire process and helped me to see what was important and what wasn't in regards to the case. On the day of the hearing we were prepared and ready and we laid out the entire truth of the whole situation to the judge. A few days later we got the decision - we had won! I honestly don't believe I would have made it without him because he was emotionally supportive and prevented me from giving up. His fee was reasonable and his willingness to work with my financial situation was admirable. He was pretty much fantastic. He also helped me to keep all of my integrity and honesty and we won fair and square. I would want him to help me in any legal matters whatsoever. He is a real honest guy and he changed my life with his counsel.

Assaf and his team recently handled a case for me which i ended up winning. I highly recommend them. They are very professional and easy to work with. Assaf and his team are very pleasant which makes the frustrating experience of dealing with the state less stressful. I had two court appearances and Assaf was there before hand to go over my case. He is very knowledgeable and his opening and closing statements made me that much more confident in my case.

it started off okay they were working on my on getting my unemployment going for a second appeal after paying them another $400 and then they dropped the ball they told me they would give me back my money if they could not do the the second appeal they gave me a song and dance and how it was going to cost me more money.They will not return any of my emails or phone calls they basically ripped me off.Jackie started off so nice and making excuses how she has been out of the office and did not get my messages and now she won,t even return a email.I do not recommend this firm at all.

I had a good experience working with Assaf and his firm. They were pleasantly responsive and answered all my questions. Assaf and his team gave exceptional representation and I would definitely hire them again.

The worst experience I have ever had. The attorney that represented me was unprepared and unprofessional. I could have gotten better resaults myself. The guy guaranteed a win and was more than happy to take my money. When I was at the hearing for an EDD dispute, he represented me by phone and let the opposing side walk all over me. During his closing argument he stumbled over his words and had no idea what he was saying. Then after the hearing he called me and said he was confident. Then a letter arrived by mail that denied my benefits. Don't waste your money on attorney Ataaf Lichtash, he is a quack. You can do a better job yourself.
