Don’t help in anything

Pershing Square is the one stop shop for all EDD (unemployment and disability benefits). I'm an employment attorney and I proudly refer all my clients who have EDD issues to this firm. You're in great hands!!!

Well it took me some time to go thru the pros and cons with giving my feedback on my service. I truly feel besides having a tough judge I was poorly represented. I think I was harassed more from Daphnie with a payments than I was with my lawyer. I can count on two fingers how many times we spoke. He did not prep me and the day he did try to tell me how it would go he informed me NOTHING to say. Yet kept saying what a terrible judge I was given. The judge asked him twice if he had something to say and each time he said no. I spent 800 dollars that was an extreme hardship for nothing. I truly believe I could have done it alone and lost with or without his help. Then I was told to appeal which what point would it have been? This judge didn’t even know the outcome. I had to call and ask to explain. HE NEVER CALLED ME. I always had to reach out to him. Sadly I paid this place 800 for nothing. My proper documents of identity weren’t even sent to the judge and to this day I’m still trying to get that cleared. Maybe a pay back of half wouldn’t make me feel so robbed. Very disappointing. I hope no one else is treated like this

I called the day before my hearing for a free consultation. Not only were they very helpful but they made my case a priority even with such short notice. I did have to pay upfront due to the nature of my case. I sent in all documents and my attorney Charlie reviewed them and called me the following morning to go over everything. He was very kind, professional, and helpful. Without Charlie I do not feel I would have handled or answered my questions right or got my point across properly. I do not know the decision of my appeal yet but would still give five stars regardless. I felt I got what I paid for and Charlie was super helpful. Thank you so much!

I must say that my experience with Pershing Square Law Firm has been nothing but exceptional, from the moment I first called and spoke to their reception staff up until I won my case and received my payment from EDD. A little bit about my case: I was denied benefits due to what the EDD deemed not a valid reason for leaving my previous employer in May of 2019, I was appealing the decision due to the hrs and salary provided by previous employer, the job was about 30 miles away and was only receiving about 8hrs of work per week, and also had no functioning transportation, Because of this the job did not make financial sense, on this premise the Pershing Square attorney was able to reverse the decision made by the EDD, and remove all previous penalties resulting in the full payment of my benefits. I definitely recommend this firm and although they cannot promise you that they will win your case they will do everything they can to try to resolve your problem and provide assistance.
