Let me start by saying that if were not for Shawn and his crew at BHIF, i would have been suffering pain for the rest of my life. Experiencing an accident is not something anyone would plan for, besides the bodily injury aspect, its an emotionally distressing thing to happen to anyone. I was in the crosshairs of one such event that has left me scarred to this day! On a sunny september afternoon in 2019, while doing ride share, myself along with my passenger became the subject of a T-bone accident when an out of control SUV ran a Stop sign & slammed into the side of my car. The result! An almost new car with severe damages along with sufferring neck and back pain. The SUV that had me simply took off. I filed a police report & also reported it to my insurance company but unfortunately, they sweet talked me, but gave the cold shoulder once I requested repairs on my car. The next day, severe pain started to roll in. My shoulders & back were sore & I couldn't move my neck anymore. In the next few days, the pain escalated and i fell into further depression after my driver account was put on hold. I was really confused & didn't know who to contact. I was on the verge of a total mental breakdown until one day a miracle happened while scrolling through my phone Contacts. I remembered I once had a conversation with a friend of mine who had mentioned to me about his attorney and provided me his business card. I took his advice and met with him. He was a fine individual that also become my attorney and took up my case. His crew is also amazing who made me feel like family as soon as I walked in. I explained my entire situation, showed them my dash camera footage of the accident and told them that my whole body was hurting and that i had already visited the hospital to get my x-rays, CT scan done. BHIF helped me receive a multitude of amazing treatments all of which were covered under the filings of my case. Some parts of my injuries and its respective treatments are confidential, and I would not like to disclose them, however, I can confidently say that I received the best treatments available. I do however want to mention that I in my case, the injury that I have is permanent, and I will continue to have pain for the rest of my life. However, it's controlled to a large extent with the treatments that I have taken which may react differently to different people. I took laser therapy from laser MD, in Santa Monica, which was the best thing that ever happened to me in terms of relief from pain and i generally avoid taking painkillers as it makes me drowsy and I have to miss work so i have programmed my mind and body to live without them. I have also made positive change to my diet and I am eating healthy, which is also improving on my pain level a great deal. Every step of the way, Shawn, the other attorneys, Shay, and Monica along with their entire crew (sorry I couldn't remember everyone's name) were are all there to support me. My case took a lot longer than some others due to the severity of my injuries and influx of Covid right at that peak moment but I can say that after everything, all in all I have received adequate treatments and a respectable settlement which could not have been possible, if not for an attorney like Shawn. I hope that I never have to contact their law firm again in future because an accident is not something that I wish for due to the extent of my injury, but i highly recommend them if anyone is in a similar situation like mine!
