Just from the initial phone consultation, I knew Emily was the right fit for me. Every part of a divorce process is tough; I can't stress enough how important it is to have outstanding representation. Emily always reassured me she was there for me. She also made sure to move along the process when it started to lag a bit. Emily is always straight forward as well. No BS, ever! She is realistic about what the client wants versus what is possible/doable. She really knows what she is talking about. If you are new to this process, which I most definitely was, it's nice to know there are always options. Emily and I met during a very difficult time in my life and I am very fortunate to have met her when I did. When she and I met, I was embroiled in a very difficult divorce. A divorce that involved domestic violence, division of assets and many other sensitive areas. Words cannot describe how great Emily was to my family, friends and especially me. She gave me the feeling that she is available anytime. Whenever I called her it never felt rushed and she was always attentive. She was able to see through the dishonesty of the other party and was able to use their "evidence" against them. Just wow! When I first spoke with Emily, I had just been hit with a year long restraining order against my new born son and his mother. Feeling depressed and desperate I reached out to Emily for help.
