I hired Karen to represent my daughter in 2020. Karen made very costly suggestions that were not necessary to the success of the case, she took too long to process a simple case of child support, billing every month for services not performed, and overcharging for communications. Thousands of dollars were unnecessarily wasted. We terminated her services after 20 months because we found out that she was not representing us properly by giving in to all the opposite party's demands, altering signed documents, not filing applications in a timely manner. The last straw was when Karen became aggressive on the phone. Her interest lies in making money not addressing the case effectively, in some cases overcharging. The case files received were incomplete, as we found out some forms were never submitted to the court, we reached out to request the missing documents and no one is responding. Not an efficient attorney or the qualities of a super attorney as it is advertised in her profile.

I love the way attorney Brown fights for clients she is is tough and firm and tells it like it is whether u want to hear the truth or not. In the end I was awarded more time with our children and my child support was lowered at a more reasonable amount. In 2012 my ex hired Karen Brown. I had always had a great relationship with my ex. We were renegotiating child support from $300 to $600 because his income had dramatically increased. He hired Karen to negotiate this. Karen started a crazy fight over everything under the sun. The emails were insulting and crazy of which I responded. I had no idea why my nice ex turned into a crazy control freak. In the end, I figured it out. He confided in me that he picked the wrong lawyer. He said he paid $45,000 in fees for these stupid fights over the past. The judge literally laughed at Karen Brown's arguments. Child support is a simple calculation and none of the emails changed that. Karen has a knack for in-sighting hate and profiting from it. Turned out my ex paid only 3 months of payments because I thought his situation changed. The joke was on my ex and Karen Brown was the one who played it! To this day I have literally only received $1800 at most and Karen received $45,000.

Karen Brown has been a Godsend for my contentious and difficult custody case. After 5 lawyers and one hundred thousand later I got nothing and was in worst shape than ever. My ex wife came from big family money and very legally savvy, and I fought hard for my children. Two of my lawyers worked with my ex wife's lawyers and betrayed me, their client. Karen is ethical and could not be bought by anything but the truth. Thanks to her I spend wonderful times with my two daughters. It is very sad that most divorce lawyers don't care about the harm that is done to children and families brought on by their greed. Thank you Karen Brown.
