My wife and I decided it was time for us to start a family trust. We procrastinated for over a year, mostly because we had no idea where to start or what to do. I knew my parents had an estate plan, but had not gone over in years. When my dad became terminal my mom came to me with lots of questions. I looked at their paperwork and realized there was large gaps in their coverage. Not much I could do at the time. Once Dad passed I had my mom see Amy Alvis. Amy was professional, and caring. She helped my Mom create a new power of attorney. We had the information we needed to help Mom. My mother was so comfortable and assured that all of her paperwork was in order it made a very stressful time so much easier.
