Very timely resolution of an urgent legal problem.

Steve is not only the smartest person I know, he is also caring and extremely driven. Once he is engaged in your cause he will be dedicated to securing you a positive outcome. He will interpret the “legal speak” and explain your options in words you can understand. He has the empathy and integrity that you always wanted in a lawyer but didn’t think existed. Bottom line – you cannot have a better person on your side than Steve.

I first met attorney Stephen Cawelti when my ex filed to change our visitation schedule a few years ago. Stephen was amazing - he explained everything so that I could make the best choice from the available options, kept me informed and kept me from panicking in court. He handled my case again about a year later when I needed to request the exchanges be moved to a police station. Both times the outcome was even better than I had hoped. By now my ex has taken me back to court several times, always seeking to reduce or eliminate his child support obligation. At the most recent hearing, Stephen not only prevented my ex from reducing his support, he got the child support nearly doubled and no reduction in the childcare amount. Amazing! I can’t say enough about Stephen’s professionalism and honesty. He also has quite a presence in court during the hearings, which makes him the very best advocate. I genuinely hope this is the last court go around. Hopefully my ex has had enough. If not, I know to call Stephen Cawelti!!
