The first step I had to take to learn about bankruptcy was to "make the call." I called 9 bankruptcy firms and left voicemails with each of them. I’ve had a lot of people refer me to several lawyers from all over the country but I trusted my instincts and did my own research. I went to a few lawyer consultations but I was not feeling it.
