I hired Dan to help negotiate terms related to my departure from a former employer. Dan was provided sound advise and helped move the process quickly towards resolution, in spite of the challenges presented by opposing counsel. I was pleased with the outcome, so much so that not only would I use Dan again, but I have recommended him to a number of close friends that had a similar need.

I discussed my matter with several attorneys before going with Dan. Dan is, among other great things, very thoughtful and strategic; he thinks through every action and inaction and is someone you want on your side every step of the way. He kept a big picture view with an eye towards resolution while never failing to analyze and advise on the important details. I have recommended him and those that have hired him share the same sentiment.

I have worked with and around lawyers for most of my 20 year career, but I have never been in the position before where I have needed a lawyer to represent me in litigation. I knew that finding the right attorney was critical and I spoke to several lawyers before I decided to brief Dan.
From the beginning, Dan was a good listener who showed tremendous attention to the details of my claim. His focus was on my welfare and making sure that I ended up in the best position possible. Dan made sure that I understood the steps we were taking at each stage of my case. He would listen to my questions and concerns and always took the time to address every one of them. Dan was genuinely empathetic and supportive, but at the same time always realistic and a consumate professional in the way he managed my case.
My experience with my former employer would have remained unimaginably more difficult had I not had both his astute legal mind, and even more importantly, his honest and forthright character in my corner. He absolutely lived up to his promise of "large firm experience and small firm attention" and I would not hesitate to recommend his services to anyone dealing with an employment law problem.

"I received nothing from my (former) employer upon being terminated without any notice. I had worked hard for years, using my connections and business expertise to bring substantial benefits to the company. Dan was honest and straightforward in explaining that it would be an uphill battle even to get them to put some money on the table. After a brief period, he was able to get them to move and we were able to get them to offer me a reasonable severance package. Dan kept me informed the entire time, made recommendations that made sense, and I was finally able to obtain closure." I feel tremendously blessed to have had Dan as my attorney. I highly recommend him.

Quite simply, Dan is a superstar. He listens instead of lecturing, and he put in an amazing amount of time, effort, and employment law expertise into my dispute with my former employer. He didn't just learn the facts of my case -- he studied and mastered them. Whenever I had a question, Dan would get to it immediately and knew how to explain the litigation process so that I knew what would happen next. And, in the end, he showed that what he valued most was MY WELL-BEING, not that of himself or of anyone else.

Our small business received a lawsuit, and we didn't know what to do. Not only was one of our former employees demanding six-figures, but we were concerned about how much it would cost to retain a good attorney to defend ourselves. We found Dan through a friend of a friend. He found time to meet with us right away, explained the strengths and weaknesses of our case, and recommended an aggressive strategy for resolving the dispute quietly. Ultimately, we were able to get the complaint dismissed, and Dan's fees were much more reasonable than we expected. If you're the owner of a small or medium-sized business that might not be able to afford the costs of a high-priced law firm -- or even if you CAN afford it -- go to Dan first.
