I was arrested for DUI in Feb 2019. Before I hired Mike, I interviewed few lawyers but all of them were much interested in money rather hearing my case and providing a possible outcome . Mike, listened my case carefully and advised me on what are the best/worst outcomes if we settle the case through plea bargaining and through trial. Not only he advised on how to proceed on getting the best outcome , but he was always available whenever I had a question. I know , he is very busy with other cases but he always replied to my text messages and my calls. Even though I was pushy sometimes but his patience was beyond amazing . He knows what he is working on and he knows how to get the best resolution. He successfully negotiated the plea bargaining with the prosecutor and was able to get a better outcome . I was worried that I would end up getting a DUI but the case has been reduced to a speeding. I recommend Mike for anyone who is in trouble . Once you hire Mike, I know you are in good hands and let him deal the case. Kudos and Thank you so much for all your good work Mike. Note: For all those who is reading this review, please don’t drink and drive . Not worth it. Just one drink can ruin your life in many ways, especially people who have an immigration application pending.

He should be the attorney of the year. I had to switch to new attorney for my case and it was the best decision and every cent paid off. Aside his superior knowledge in law field, he was very communicative, constantly updating me which was very much appreciated and transparent throughout every step in the process so I could really understand the process. I had called a few firms and had been disappointed with them and within seconds of speaking to Mike I knew this was different. That feeling held throughout the process. Mr. Michael Simmrin listened to my concerns about my DUI case that had already been disposed or closed. I needed help requesting an appeal, which is very difficult to get approved by a judge. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! READ THIS!!!! I've owned numerous companies over the years and had many attorneys both in New York and Los Angeles. In my opinion, this was the worst experience. This guy brings you in the conference and paints a picture of how serious your problems are and you need him NOW and he wants to get letters out TODAY. Like a factory, he has a prepared retainer agreement to charge your credit card endlessly. I fell for it. In 30 days and nothing to show he manages to ratchet his bills up to over $7,000 dollars. He manages to do this by having his staff contact you and charging $45 per phone call to set up an appointment just to speak with him. The staff will leave messages at unknown numbers and never attempt to speak to anyone. If you attempt to follow up on a case, his staff will reply with basically nothing and charge you $45 per email or call. He not only in my opinion "fluffs and pads" his invoices, but makes unfounded charges of legal items that cannot check while a case is active. I had this verified by seasoned attorneys and a CPA. They stated there were charges for things that could not be processed due to the case was not completed. Best of all he charges $1600 for a poorly written letter that was less than a few paragraphs. Don’t give him your credit card!!!! He will blindly charge an addition ~$8,000. Keep in mind this is all within approximately 30 DAYS. I'm currently compiling an ongoing list of what I would call fraudulent charges. He’s only been practicing law for. 10 years and should not be at the self- proclaimed $600 an hour. SAVE YOUR MONEY! Get a good referral from a friend of an attorney that has been practicing law more than 10 and not at a self-proclaimed rate of $600/hour. Update: The bottom line is my other attorney was able to resolve this matter in little over two weeks with a phone call and only costing 1/10th of the price. Finally, you don't hear Mr. Stoned complaining about his bill not being paid. I paid him in full and made sure anytime any asks me for an attorney referral I lead in with my personal experience with this attorney.
