In 2018, I was in a car accident that involved getting T-boned by an off duty police officer who was speeding and passed a red light while I was on the opposite side of the street, making a left turn. Although it was a horrible crash, apparently the officers who helped during the scene did not appear to file a report on the incident, making my case even more complex. Although we had witnesses, it was a "he said, she said" situation without that filed report. The Law Offices Of Gerald L. Amazing results from this firm. Couldn't be happier. I must admit, I wasn't sure how it was going to go, as I'd never used a lawyer to represent me in a car accident. But I called Gerald Marcus's office after receiving a seemingly manipulative call from the other driver's insurance agent. (Turned out the other driver was underinsured.) It took just under a year to go through all the stages to completely resolve the case. Once treatment was done and the medical bills came in, negotiations started. Gerald Marcus himself called me to give updates and let me know what was happening.I could tell how passionate he was about getting the best outcome for his client. In fact, he got terrific results and I am quite satisfied. In the meantime, I didn't have make tons of phone calls to deal with the other side.There was no hassle to get my car repaired or in getting the medical care/physical therapy I very much needed going forward. I do want to share that I learned a lot - in particular that it can take more time going the lawyer route. I know I was antsy - I thought it seemed to be taking a minute to resolve a fairly straightforward accident. But that was only because my previous history had always been just taking whatever I was being offered. I received much better care going this route for my injuries. And I didn't have to worry about what I DIDN'T know that might keep me from getting a fair settlement.
