I had the pleasure of working with Dan Holzman on what was a deeply stressful situation for me. He is responsive and kind. He made the legal part of working through an otherwise awful experience quite easy. I highly recommend Dan to anyone who finds themselves in need of an employment lawyer. It’s almost like working with a friend and you can very much tell he cares about his clients and their well-being.

Santa Clarita, CA 5 Stars 2/5/2021 Speaking as an experienced attorney myself, I definitely recommend Dan Holzman for his knowledge, experience and strategic legal style in negotiating severance packages and related legal issues. I found Dan through Yelp!, after interviewing 9 other lawyers, and could tell from our first conversation that he understood that I only wanted to negotiate a better severance package, and was not interested in threatening and prepping for litigation, as that was not going to motivate my former employer to enrich my severance. I was immediately impressed with Dan's savvy negotiating strategy and style, which I could not have pulled off myself, and I really appreciated that, because he is always classy and controlled, I never had to worry about him saying anything in negotiations that might work against my goal. He was also great at keeping me informed of what was happening, and agreeing on next moves at each decision point in the process, which is a huge issue for me. Finally, he was great at keeping the focus on the critical economic issues in the negotiation when I would get distracted by emotionally charged aspects. Overall, I'm very glad I engaged Dan for this work: he brought talent and experience that achieved the best result for me that I believe was possible. And, fyi, for other attorneys who may be considering hiring counsel vs. trying to negotiate your own severance package: I have many years of complex contract negotiating experience and I could not have done a good job negotiating my own severance deal due to the emotional aspects of separating from my long-time employer. Hiring Dan to negotiate for me was worth every penny, for the result he achieved, and for relieving me of the stress of having to negotiate with lawyers that had been my coworkers.

Dan Holzman successfully negotiated improvements in my severance agreement, providing great advice, clear and responsive communications throughout. All parties emerged on good terms, which certainly eased my mind as I pursue new opportunities.

Do not use this law firm it toke w years to settle my case for 2.000 dollars and I got 5 u can do better by handling ur own case with the insurance company. I could have filed my own claim and got the whole 2.000 and also I'm still waiting to get paid after the case was settled more than 60 days ago.

This is by far the worst experience ever. I'm a client for this Law firm. Every time I call to get information about my case its always a issue. Never again! I'm injured for life! And there's no real fight for my well being. I will never Refer anybody to Gerald L Marcus! My case was settled weeks ago and I'm being ignored!! I hired you!! Not the other way around.
