Michael Friedman helped me and my family do what seemed to be impossible - get the DWP to rescind a false and egrigious $51,000 water bill! My elderly parents were tormented with service shutoff and collection threats for 8.5 months for not paying this outrageous bill. For 8.5 months we tried to get DWP (via phone, email and in person) to investigate the nature of this bill to no avail. No one ever responded. Finally, when Mr. Friedman got on the case, within two weeks my parents' case was resolved and the monster of a bill was rescinded, accompanied by a public apology from the DWP broadcast on national television. Thanks to Michael Friedman my parents and finally have peace of mind after 8.5 months of torment. Words can't adequately describe our gratitude.

Michael Friedman took over our case from another lawyer. The results were like night and day. Immediately he did research and based on that did such powerful presentations to the city that they realized a building had been built illegally.
