Erica was AWESOME! She came highly recommended to me at a crucial time. She was able handle my hearing with less than 24 hours’ notice and was even a good luck charm as my case ended up being DISMISSED. She was able to ease my worries during the hearing as she was easy to talk to, as well as just making you feel comfortable in an uneasy setting with legal issues. I could tell she was on top of everything and was a true professional. I retained Erica Bloom for a restraining oder case, Paid a hefty deposit of $3500. Initially she appeared that she was actively working on my case. Then as soon as I started to ask questions regarding the status of case and if subpoenas had been filed in a timely manner. All email stopped, or I get a one liner brush off. The final straw was she drafted a motion to submit to the court and sent it to me to review. It was unprofessional and inaccurate. It had appeared she had copied the complaint and pasted it in the case background portion of the motion. When I questioned her on it she quit. I mean my hearing is a month away. It was devastating! Kept my retainer, all of it. She put no effort in my case. Left me high and dry to pick up the pieces. I don't have the money to retain another lawyer at this point. And she wont give me the case files. The firm she works for is Sean Leslie. Contacted him, his response. Oh well, there is plenty of other attorneys out there. And Then, ........yes there is more, another associate attorney part of the same firm that I gave 5K retainer too. Also quit, said it was a conflict of interest to keep representing me. He also kept retainer. Anthony is his first name but I have a separate review for him. Stay as far away from Sean Leslie Law firm as you can get. They are all about the money and then they will quit leaving you hanging. Shame on them! I've given up because of them. Im a 100% disabled vet on a fixed income. And you know what Erica Bloom told me in an email. "I wish you all the luck" The audacity. Im trying to stay within the guidelines of this review site, but its almost impossible to do, due to the level of service this firm provided. I plead with site web masters to allow this to be posted. So this wont happen to some other unsuspecting individual who has limited funds and receives this type of service.

If you need an attorney, David is the right choice. He will walk you through the entire process to make sure you understand all of the important details. From the moment you make your first call, David works hard to earn your business and shows you he cares, and he continues this work ethic even after your case is resolved by continuing to take your calls about questions and what next steps you have available.

Ok, So after my initial post, 8 month ago, things changed drastically, she dropped my case and kept my retainer. After reviewing her work, I found that most of the promises she made to me and the agreements we had discussed were not followed thru. It was aweful, her and her co-counsel, both dropped me because i questioned the wording of a motion that was being submitted to the court. It was worded extremely poor and reflected negatively on me. I would not say this unless I witnessed first hand some of the most unprofessionalism in my life. Do not use her or Leslie Law firm. They will over charge, undeliver and leave you hanging at the worst time. Try getting another attorney 2 weeks before your court date. Do yourself a favor, do not use her, Leslie law firm, or another attorney by the name of Anthony Sciarretta. who also is a part of leslie Law firm. Absolutely the worst experience of my life. Id give em negative 10. You will be rolling the dice with these characters. Good Luck! If you use em, you will need it! Remember they know the system, if you question their advice, they will keep your retainer and fire you. Also, I found that they were intensionally giving me advice that would keep the case drawn out so they could make more money unnecessarily off me. Shame on them. I will be contacting the bar. Now that my case has been resolve thru another attorney favorably, I have time to let the world know how bad and untrustworthy they are. DO NOT USE LESLIE LAW FIRM!!!!!! Update: this law firm is comprised of individuals who will take your money and not do any work what so ever. She is lazy lazy and will take your money and leave you in represented a week before your hearing

I recently hired Mr Boertje for my case. So glad I made the choice to do so. From beginning to end the process was seamless. Everything was thoroughly explained.
