I truly wish I could find the best words to describe the incredible team of Attorneys at Capstone Law that I had the pleasure to work with in my years-long effort for a positive outcome from the Ford Transmission Settlement. I am sure those "best words" just don't exist. Attorneys Diane Hernandez, Laura Goolsby, and the others are knowledgeable, professional, responsive, patient and extraordinarily respectful. I felt that my voice was finally heard when these Attorneys took over for me; particularly Attorney Hernandez who made herself available at all times of day and exhibited such kindness towards me on this often-times emotional journey. And then, her closing summation "drove it all home," lifting an enormous burden that I had been carrying for seven+ years. That we won our case (on top of all of that) was pure joy. I am forever grateful.

In August of 2020 I searched for information regarding my 2015 Ford Focus. This vehicle had a chronic and recurring malfunction of it's transmission. I questioned a Ford service technician about the transmission, his answer; crickets. Due to my research I came to find out there was a class action suit against Ford. Subsequently, Ford was ordered, by the courts, to buy back any Ford which came under the parameters of the law suit. Our vehicle qualified for the buy back. I contacted Capstone Law APC, via email, and thankfully I was contacted by Diane Hernandez. Diane was extremely helpful and requested, from me, all the documentation required by Ford. In March of 2021. After satisfying Ford's documentation needs and Diane's dedicated professional hard work Ford settled with me for all my payments including; interest paid, taxes etc. less a usage fee. After sixty months of faithfully making payments I held title to my Focus.. The Ford settlement afforded me the ability to purchase a new Mazda CX-5. Along with some additional monies, I eventually, paid off the Mazda and I now hold it's title. For more than thirty years of buying Fords, for our family transportation; I will never buy another Ford. I truly believe because of Diane Hernandez's attention to detail, relentless pursuit of fairness, and caring for my rights as a consumer made my settlement possible.

I have to say having Capstone as my law firm in attending my needs for a class action lawsuit that I was part of, was one of the best experiences I’ve had. Capstone Law represented me in a class-action lawsuit against Ford during the pandemic. Unfortunately, Ford was not responsive and it took a lot longer than anticipated due to Covid-19. However, Capstone Law was always super communicative, particularly Laura Goolsby. She constantly updated me and gave me the information needed. Her rapid email response was always appreciated. Laura was responsive, communicative, and knowledgeable throughout the whole 9-month process, answering all my lengthy and incessant questions. I ended up receiving full compensation and I am incredibly happy with how the process went, minus the delay which was not Capstone's fault.
