When I knew I had a case for workers rights I was referred an attorney that was extremely pushy and was gonna take 75%! I thought it was a good idea for me to look for other options, I searched Google and found : Wrongful Termination Group ]. Honestly, that was the best decision I could have made. I called them, they were up front about everything!!!! with fees, with the contract, with the the entire process and and even though my situation was extremely difficult they found me an attorney that would fit my exact case. I would a 100% recommend Wrongful Termination Group. Thank you Cheyla. You have gone above and beyond for me and I am so grateful for that.

My Lay-Off Date was May 2, 2022: I really needed help. I’ve been wrongfully terminated and laid-off before and I was done with employers thinking they have the upper hand. I didn’t know what to do, but I knew this time I wasn’t going to let it slide like all the other times. I can’t put the employers’ details here due to the Non-Disclosure Agreement, but I can talk about what they laid me off for and I strongly believed that it was because I formally reported potentially deadly electrocution hazards. I spoke with a manager about it first a few times verbally and I just couldn’t keep ignoring the deadly concerns, so I emailed Human Resources, the Safety Department, and other departments such as Maintenance with supporting photographs and of course always BCC yourself to your personal email, so they can’t deny, or permanently delete any information. Immediately the next day I get a phone call that the Federal Container Yard was getting slow and that I violated company policy for using my camera on my phone. I wasn’t having it because if the container yard was getting slow, why was myself and others doing overtime, or why were they actively hiring which the background check isn’t easy to pass for most, or why we were pulling other workers from other yards/sites to assist us, or why weren’t other employees laid-off since I was always on time, and other workers were late, or didn’t show, and, or didn’t call in; all verifiable by requesting my personnel records… I Googled Wrongful Termination Attorney and this place was conveniently located, so I contacted them. Cheyla jumped on my need for help fast and the experience was fantastic. Even though they couldn’t handle my case, they were able to contact an Attorney that could for the reasons of Whistleblower, Wrongful Termination, Retaliation for Retaining Counsel, and for Military Status Discrimination. I also reported the incident to OSHA immediately since there was an imminent threat to life.
Case Settled in my favor October 12, 2023!!!
If I could give my younger self advice, it would be to sue every employer that did me wrong. Don’t shrug it off people. Speak to an attorney and let them determine if you have a case. I’d have millions in the bank if I stood up for myself every time. Make people pay for it by writing a check for their unlawful actions and behaviors towards you.
