Thank you to Mr.Smith and his team . He answered all my questions within the first call. CBP seized my car mid feb. Im still paying for the vehicle and had gone through so many layers, most told me to let it go. I liked my car so much i had only had it for 4 months and with the shortage going on i wasn't ready to drop it start all over and file bankruptcy. As a single mom , i was so scared of all this , As its my first time being involved with any sort of "law" enforcement . Mr.Smith let me know it would take up to 90 more days after receiving the CBP forms . I am now days away from getting my car back BEFORE THE 90 DAYS . THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!!!!!! On December 17 2021 I had my car seized by the BP they told me if I fight to get my car back I would be arrested because they have evidence against me. So when they sent me the petition I was scared to fill it out. So I thought to myself that I needed advice on what to do so I searched up seized vehicle lawyers near me and Dan Smith youtube video pops up. So I watched his video and when i did i thought he was talking about what happened to me about the experience I went through with the border patrol. I had an unfortunate situation happen where a vehicle I lease was taken by CA Border Patrol while someone else was driving it. In a panic, I contacted BP to see where my vehicle was taken the next morning. San Diego Defender's Daniel Smith and Jon Pettis are attorneys that know their stuff. I had a previous DUI several months ago and was driving with a restriction drivers license, so I thought. Cops pulled me over in September driving back home from work for tag expiration and found out that my license was suspended again for my DUI plea deal back in May. What had happen was the DMV re-suspended my license for that and didn't notified me of it to rectify the situation. Found out the citation the cops issued came with a mandatory 10 days in jail and with that info I started freaking out almost like a panic attack. My truck was seized by us customs. I contacted Mr Smith. They started working on my case immediately, I maintained communication with Ashley. She kept me informed about the progress of the case. U.S. customs finally released my truck and Ashley notified me the same day. 3 days later which is today I recovered my truck. Thank Mr Smith and Ashley
