I have been Christopher Koch's client for over 4 years. 2nd dui and a misd Assault. Both no jail and good terms.
Most recent, I was arrested for PC 273.5(A) Inflict Corporal Injury/Spouse with GBI enhancement. Girlfriend and I had a heated argument with a large amount of alcohol consumed. Mutual combat and victim fell back and hit her head. No 911 call. Victim filed police report 4 days later. Cops come to my house and arrest me. I plead not guilty. Initial offer was 4 years state with a felony strike. Followed through TRC'S and negotiations. DA offered 6 months county with felony on record after preliminary hearing. At Prelim, victim invoked right to plead the 5th (right to not self-incriminate) Refused to sign immunity and refused to testify (with her attorney present). I pushed for jury trial. Christopher increased the pressure on the DA to settle. Trial date was confirmed, with no deal in sight. 5 days prior to Day1 of trial, Christopher negotiated a deal with DA to settle... All charges DISMISSED... Plead to PC M415(2) Misdameanor Malicious Disturb (Disturbing The Peace). Case will be dismissed after completion of 52-week domestic violence classes as part of the deal. Probation reinstated on two prior cases, pending traffic ticket (driving with suspended license and illegal turn on red) was also dismissed as part of the settlement. Christopher worked with me with this ordeal for a little under 1 year (arrested 4/30/2015, settled 4/12/2016). Christopher's fees were also great, does payments. I would recommend Christopher and his team to anyone who needs an impressive attorney with great connections. Insist on trial for any domestic violence incidents.
