I have worked with other attorneys on many occasions and for a variety of reasons. Clearly some are better than others. Specifically, I have also worked with trust attorneys in the past. They run the range from entirely incompetent lawyers who are not interested in protecting your assets and simply padding their bill by churning your paperwork, to competent and efficient attorneys who want to provide value and do the best job possible for you. Elizabeth Johnson is solidly in the latter category. Our trust is fairly complicated but my wife and I knew going in what we trying to achieve. Elizabeth quickly converted our wishes to a set of trust documents that we are very satisfied with. She provided cost effective, no fuss, and quick results. We look forward to working with her as needs arise in the future.

My husband and I sought Elizabeth’s expertise twice this past year. We came to need a trust attorney at the passing of my mother in law. The trust held by our parents was outdated and no longer valid. Elizabeth explained the necessary updates, current laws and options with clarity and patience, which we valued, as this was new territory for us. This also involved taking extra time to clearly explain the plan to my elderly father in law. We were put at ease by her kind manner, enthusiasm and obvious knowledge. We both felt comfortable calling and emailing with the smallest of concerns, which was such a relief as we are certain to need her in the future. I loved that she followed up with reminders also-so very helpful. When an unforeseen change needed to be made after my father in law’s trust was completed, Elizabeth was available promptly, and updated the trust immediately. We were both so impressed with her service that we had our own (long overdue) trust drawn up by her as well. Having legal documents drawn up, discussing sensitive, tough to talk about subjects is a task we weren’t looking forward to. Elizabeth guiding us through the process made it not only bearable, but enjoyable. We can’t recommend her more highly!
