Because of tax law changes, our very old trust needed to be restated. Receiving a recommendation from a friend introduced me to Elizabeth C,A, Johnson, JD, LL M in Danville California. Elizabeth is methodical, organized, and gets right down to business. She met with me a few times, found out what was needed and outlined what needed to happen. And, she GOT IT DONE. Not only was it done in a reasonable time, she provided a notebook that organized records and the required legal documents. This notebook will hold every paper needed to access the trust for our heirs. Bottom line: trust is up to date; paperwork is organized; we are breathing a sign of relief—in good time and at a reasonable price.

Creating and implementing a trust is complicated. Our experience with Elizabeth as our trust attorney was excellent and positive at all steps in the process. My wife and I are so pleased that we found Elizabeth's firm. The details she put into our trust make my parents' and my in-laws' trusts look like postcards. I would highly recommend Ms. Johnson for estate planning. I engaged her for establishing a will, revocable trust and a health care directive. Ms. Johnson was very knowable in all areas of estate planning and explained things clearly and offered alternatives based on my current circumstances - she made it easy to understand for non-lawyer folks. I especially was impressed that she coordinated and lead the efforts to work with several local government agencies in California and Hawaii to transfer property titles into the established trust. Ms. Johnson also outlined the next steps I needed to take to ensure my family members knew what to do upon my passing away. The binder she created will help my family understand how to avoid probate and process my estate without too much problems. Again she did a great job at a reasonable fee.

Elizabeth helped us along with putting together our Trust. She was prompt, professional and is very good at what she does. The process can be daunting, but she explained everything in a way for someone with no legal background can understand. Everything was completed in a very timely manner, and she had everything done exactly when she said she would. The final step went by quickly and effortlessly as she had everything set up for us before hand so that when we came in, we were done in under 30 minutes and had an organized, detailed Book of Life containing our Trust and all important documents that will make it so easy at the time of our passing. Elizabeth was awesome to work with. At the time we started communicating my wife was beginning to show early signs of Dementia. This slowed things up but Elizabeth was very thorough about having everything in place so that we could precede quickly. Was able to get Power of Attorney in place to be able to take care of all of my wife medical and financial needs. Access to accounts in her name only such as retirement account with Calpers. Once everything is completed you will have peace of mind knowing you chose the right Attorney for your needs.
