My financial situation is unique, and complicated. I have a large amount of credit card debt, and no job, so I called Deborah thinking I had no choice but to file for BK-7. Deborah listened very closely and patiently to my unique situation, and we discussed both the pros and cons, and multiple different scenarios. Even though I don’t currently have a job, I own property, and have access to funds to pay off my large debts. The two main things that were keeping me from accessing the funds and paying off my debt were the taxes and credit card fees/penalties I would incur. But Deborah brought to my attention a specific area of law that would have likely allowed the Court to sell my property if I filed BK, which would be DEVASTATING to me. I spoke to one other attorney prior to contacting Deborah, and that attorney did not address the fact that I would likely lose my property if I filed for BK. I believe the prior attorney was more interested in me paying him the fees to file BK, then what was really in my best interest. Now, instead of having horrible credit, a BK on my record, and likely losing my property; for about the same fees that it would have cost me to file BK, I am quickly paying off my debt and should see my credit score going back up within a few months. After speaking to Deborah and considering all my options, not only am I in a much better financial situation, but I am in a much better mental state of mind. Thanks to Deborah’s EXCELLENT knowledge of the law, I am now confident I will be sleeping much better at night. I would HIGHLY recommend contacting Deborah for any BK needs you may have.

With tough times not due to get any better soon! and you need to seek "Legal Counsel" to file for bankruptcy, she would be, in my opinion the best attorney of her kind to accomplish your needs here in San Diego. Deborah will discuss possible scenarios, of whether or not you should or shouldn't proceed with any legal actions. But what I admired about her the most was her extreme interest and usage of "Due Process," every Americans right to the protection against the very powerful State. This is the most important Right that any of her clients disserves to know and understand. And yes, she fully uses Due Process in her practice as a Lawyer. If necessary, she will go out of her way to counsel you; or if she can't, she will recommend you to another attorney with almost the same capacity that she has.
