Worst Attorney EVER. He will never contact you to give you any updates on your case. Good luck if you hire him. You will have to call 30 times before someone comes back to you with any information. All he cares about is money. Thanks to this Attorney my uncle lost his case because he never told him he had to go to court and neither him or my uncle showed up. Anyone else had the same issue contact me. I guess this is not the first case someone loses for not giving correct information. He is a lazy liar and will NOT FIGHT for your case. Like another review said. He will ONLY agree on everything. I will be getting signatures with proof of who else lost there case thanks to this thief not moving a finger. I actually had to get information on the other parties Attorney to tell ME my uncles attorney didn't fight for anything and that to be honest he was only taking my uncles money. It was an easy case he said because he didn't fight for my uncle. Don't tell me you didn't get my uncles case because I will expose EVERYTHING with proof on social media. Zero communication from you and when my uncle finally got ahold of you you would give him an attitude threatening you would leave the case. Yes of course after my uncle paid you for doing NOTHING.

Mr.Garcia did a great job defending me in court and assisting me in receiving my Restraining Order. The only issue with his services was the time he took to file my court documents. Our last court date was in early December, when I was granted my restraining order, and he did not file it with the court until the first week of February. I know Holidays made things delayed, but he could've filed the documents the same day of our last hearing. His justification was that the court gave him issues filing, which I honestly don't believe. Mr.Garcia also took several days to respond to my emails and calls which made me feel lost and upset. For the amount of money, I paid I believe he could've done a better job.

Hired to handle a case and he took the money and did nothing. The case has been working itself out without his assistance. He doesn't return calls and dodges your messages. Stay away from this guy. 0 stars.

I. Strongly recommend Edgar Garcia i went through a horrible custody battle where the other parent took my daughter to Minnesota due to the court defaulting my paper for not paying a fee waiver in time. Edgar helped me with my case and understood my devastation. Edgar is by far not only the best lawyer in imperial county, but will defend his clients. I have never seen such a dedicated person. I am beyond thankful and if anyone goes through custody battles Edgar is the lawyer you need to hire.

I'm an Ex Veteran of the USAF who became a stay at home father and there is no one in Southern California who I would recommend more highly than Edgard Garcia. Mr.Garcia and his topnotch staff take you from start to start to finish in a exceptional manner. I can't say enough about this man's integrity, wisdom and constitution. Truly, a step ahead of the rest.

After over 10 years of paying an extremely high amount of spousal support, Mr. Garcia was able to get my spousal support order reduced in half for a few months and was also able to get a termination date. I had contemplated retiring for many years, but was unable to do so because of this high support obligation. I am now in the process of retiring and enjoying my senior years without the added stress and with extra income. I would highly recommend anyone to Mr. Garcia's law office.

I recommend Attorney Garcia to anyone having child custody, visitation and support issues. Attorney Garcia and his staff were helpful and knowledgeable. I was informed of what to expect approaching every phase of my case. I found comfort in knowing that my rights were being protected, and knowing that my children's best interest was also kept a priority. Being in a courtroom can be confusing and scary for anyone, but being well informed and prepared along the way makes the process easier.

PLEASE DONT NOT USE THIS LAWYER. HE HAS LACK OF KNOWLEDGE WITH CHILD SUPPORT BUT CLAIMS HE DOES. HE DOES NOT FIGHT IN COURT FOR HIS CLIENTS OR SEEK A MIDDLE GROUND. EDGARD JUST SIGNS AND AGREES TO EVERYTHING THAT CHILD SUPPORT GIVES HIM. CONTINUOUSLY ERRORS WERE FOUND IN MY CASE THAT WERE OVERLOOKED BY HIM AND SIGNED OFF BY HIM. SEEK A SEASONED AND MORE EXPERIENCE ATTORNEY. THIS GUY BARELY RESPONDS TO CORRESPONDENCE AND CAME TO COURT UNPREPARED AND MISSING IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS. RUN AWAY FROM HIS SALES PITCH.

Attorney Garcia was suppossed to represent me in my hearing and did not show up on time. The Firm called him and he told them he was in the court room. He was not there when my case was called and I was. He eventually walked in 50 minutes later and three calls to the Firm. The good thing is the commissioner continued my case until finally the Lawyer showed up. He never again represented my cases. His attitude was uncaring.

I was given the reference of Edgard Garcia’s law firm last summer. This came at a good time since I had already met with two separate attorneys to see their views on my ‘Child Visitation Modification’ case. I needed an attorney to fight for the case and not follow what he/she felt past practice on judgments gave. My case was not too complicated but since my ex-wife made my situation difficult and the strong reputation of her attorney’s law firm, I needed someone willing to argue my case and not back down and just settle for the minimum. After meeting with Edgard for the initial consultation, I knew right away that he was who I wanted to represent me in my court battle. He heard all the details and my concerns for the case. This included my goals of what I thought would be a fair & balanced judgment in the best interest of my son. Edgard gave me confidence and his support that he would defiantly be able to make a great argument in court. Him and his staff were up front, with me, throughout the process and provided me with all the information I needed and delivered it straight forward. Once judgment was placed, Edgard fought and won what my initial divorce lawyer and two subsequent family law attorneys said would be close to impossible to win. I won 50/50 visitation with my son in which offers him a more fair/balanced access to both his Dad’s (my) family and with his Mother as well.

There is not any specific time I can recall when Edgard was not able to answer any of my questions. He did his best to make himself available to assist me and was prompt in returning my phone calls. I was very pleased with how Edgard delivered my argument in open court. He argued my case smoothly and was assertive when needed. He responded to the judge and the petitioner with ease and quickly. We were able to work together and listen to each other’s cues. Edgard made sure that the judge did not impose his original decision due to the judge attempting to practice procedures that are outside of the county I reside in. Edgard made sure that my case was handled fairly and was determined to continue returning to court until I received the verdict I was asking for.
